"I am staying in this hotel for several years now. This is value for money. Over the years they have improved in their facilities/guest relations and Number of free and complimentary things once you check in. For us frequent travellers to Frankfurt this hotel is ideal. The only thing one has to be careful-- in fair time the tariffs could go as high as 3 times the normal. Then they refuse to consider even if you are their frequent customer. That can be embarrasing at times. But there are other hotels nearby which offers equally good facilities." - debashis mukherjee

Getting there: The Hotel Excelsior is located directly opposite to the SOUTH exit of the Frankfurt central railway terminal.
BY CAR:
At first, follow the direction signs 'Stadtmitte / Hauptbahnhof' (city center / main station.)

When coming from the north ('Platz der Republik'), the railway station is at the right hand side. Pass the station and turn left into the next street ('Mannheimer Strae'.)

When coming from the south ('Friedensbrcke'), the station will be at the left hand side. Beforehand, turn left at the 'Baseler Platz' into the 'Karlsruher Strae' and then right into the 'Mannheimer Strae'.

BY TRAIN:
After arrival at the central railway terminal, please take the SOUTH exit. The Hotel Excelsior is located directly opposite to the exit.

BY PLANE:
Take the S-Bahn no. 8, direction Frankfurt central train terminal ('Hauptbahnhof'). Get off at the central station and leave the station concourse from the SOUTH exit. The Hotel Excelsior is located directly opposite to the exit.
Car parking: The hotel has its own parking garage. Its costs EUR 20,00 per night but reservation is not posible.
Child Policy: Children untill the age of 12 Years can stay in parents bed free of charge.
