Getting there:The hotel Faubourg 216-224 also offers direct and easy access to Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport and Villepinte exhibition centre by RER. The area is very easy to reach with a lot of transport possibilities. The metro station is “La Chapelle” (ligne 2) at 15 meters from the hotel. The main Train Station Gare du Nord is at 450 m and the airport is at 25 km. Any Paris landmark will be reach in less then 20 min by transport (metro, bus and train). From Charles de Gaulle Airport: take RER B to gare du Nord station and finish by walk. From Gare du Nord: walking distance is 450 m. From Orly airport : take the Orly Val to catch the RER B at Antony station and continue to Gare du Nord.

The area looked a bit dodgy at first, but turned out not to be that bad. It's close to the Eurostar station and really close to a metro station. The hotel is smaller than expected, but was happy with the rooms and service. The breakfast was good, and the staff friendly. Good value for money.
The room we had in this hotel was tiny (even by European standards) however it was very clean and new and the airconditioning a welcome relief on a very hot day. The hotel is very close to Gare du Nord. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall this is a good hotel and I would stay again but only for a short stay of one or perhaps two nights due to the room size.
If you book in low season, it is very good value for money, high quality for the price and a nice continental breakfast inclusive.
This was a lovely place to stay. Very close to Gare de Nord and to the Metro. Easy to get to places we wanted to visit. Place was lovely and clean with nice decor. The staff was very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.
I was treated with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. The service went beyond my expectations and I will certainly stay there the next time I'm in Paris!! Close to the metro and easy to find.
Rooms were a little smaller than expected but were fine for us. Good location near metro.
Close to Gare du Nord, with some good Indian Restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very basic, in a hot basement room. The room was about the usual small size you'll get in Paris, but the bathroom and bed were very nice. There were no standard "do not disturb" signs available. However, the room had a massive flat screen TV, and the service was excellent. Great value for money.
Pros: The TV was very large, the bed was very comfortable, the bed linen was nice, and the room had modern contemporary fittings. Close to Gare du Nord with very good Indian Restaurants nearby. Cons: The breakfast was very mediocre, but free. The towels were a bit thread-bare and small. Conclusion: Excellent value for money.
Reception looks good, room is good. It is quite old but refurbished therefore clean and nice. Life is extremely small. Location is 1 minute away from tube.
The location was very good when arriving by Eurostar - a very short walk from the station. The room was quite small but very clean. The shower worked great - which isn't always the way when staying in hotels in Europe. The local area is probably one that I wouldn't want to spend much time walking around in after dark. Good eating places near Gare De Nord.
The name on the hotel signage was "National Hotel" and not the "Faubourg hotel" which confused me initially first. Hotel rooms were small... I booked a Double room thankfully... I was not in a single room so, maybe there was more adequate room in it with the smaller bed and that but, the double room I had, in my opinion, would not have been suitably sized for 2 people. WiFi access was free which was one of the main reasons along with its geographical location to Gare Du Nord. All in all, I would stay there again... the rate was exceptionally good!
Hotel was billed as 3 stars but I'd give it only two. Small bedroom, only 5 TV channels (all French), very ordinary breakfast. Hardly worth the 129 euros I had to pay. But polite staff and comfortable bed.
Very small rooms, hardly any room to move at all, but very good bed and very clean.. good breakfast included. WiFi worked in lobby only.
