Getting there:From North: - A1 direction south, take exit Sinalunga-Bettolle - Take SS75bis direction south, after Perugia change its name in SS75 direction Assisi-Spoleto; take exit Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli Nord. From South: - A1 direction north, take exit Orte, take the connection road between Orte and Terni. - After 20km, take the E45 direction to Todi-Perugia. - In Ponte San Giovanni, take the SS75 direction Assisi-Spoleto, take the exit Assisi-Santa Maria degli Angeli nord. From SS75 Exit Santa Maria degli Angeli nord - Assisi: - Drive through Santa Maria d. Angeli and then up the hill in direction of Assisi Parking area "A" (or Piazza dell''''''''Unità, or Parcheggio San Pietro), it is the first car park that you can meet driving up the hill! From the parking "A" drive straight on up the hill, after the medieval gate of San Francesco there are three roads, the one in the middle is Via Fontebella, 150 meters more and here we are!

The setting for this hotel has a breathtaking view and the staff were very accommodating in answering questions, setting up our dinner reservations and storing our luggage until we were ready to leave..The room was neat and clean and we had a peaceful evening
Great location. Very good breakfast buffet and really nice staff. The room was a little bit too small, but the overall was very good!

I arrived very late as my train was delayed and the service at Hotel Fontabella Assisi was fantastic- no problems at all - and the facilities were excellent - with a beautiful breakfast and it was no problems to leave my luggage while I further explored the amazing Assisi - thank you Fontabella!
The hotel was excellent for my needs.Good price during the time of my stay.One big bed which took up most of the room.Breakfast was sufficient,better than I expected,considering my stays at other hotels of the same star rating.The bathroom clean and very modern.TV was free, and Internet and movies, were available in my room,at a modest price.If the price was right,I would return to this hotel if staying in Assisi again.
