"Very convenient location - an easy walk to the shopping malls and to Southbank. Cons: - Room a bit on the small side though still adequate for 2 tidy people. - In the bathroom a soap dish would have been handy and hot water pressure was abysmal. - Aircon was too noisy to have on when sleeping - Customer service could do with a big improvement- front desk staff seemed very grumpy About hotel rooms in general: 1/ Most hotels insist on putting the bar-fridge in a cupboard, but without ventilation! The fridge has a 2-star rating but inside an unvented enclosure prob less that half star! In this hotel the fridge exterior was very hot! 2/ Most hotels profess environmentalism and say to hang the towels if not to be replaced. However, cleaning staff seem to be unaware of this policy and replace towels daily, wherever they may be. More training and supervision needed in this area I reckon." - Andy Morton

The Hotel George Williams is a three and a half star hotel, located in the heart of the city. Within walking distance are the main sporting and entertainment venues of Brisbane, including Suncorp Stadium. Great shopping can be found in the Queen St Mall, just two blocks from the hotel. All rooms are NON Smoking.

Restaurant 325 On George is adjacent to the hotel lobby and offers great relaxed dining in an informal environment.

During the Christmas Period our restaurant 325 onGeorge will be closed on the following dates:
24 December 2009 Closed for dinner
25 December 2009 - 03 January 2010 inclusive the restaurant is closed.
04 January 2010 - 10 January 2010 inclusive the restaurant is closed for dinner.
