The room was beautiful, shower had very good water pressure, the only bad thing is the bus to take me to the airport drove straight past me and I had to find a taxi. I think it would be better if the bus actually picked you up from the front door and not the busy street. I loved my time at the Hotel.
This hotel has a lot of charm which made for a pleasant stay in Adelaide. The rooms were spacious and they catered for all our needs. The service was good and the staff helpful and friendly. Good food at the restaurant but they are not open on Saturday nights. There are other places near by where you can eat though.
We found the room to be well equipped with excellent beds. The reception staff were very helpful and the location of the hotel was excellent.
Friendly service, very large comfortable room, although the TV was rather old and small. The pool was also small. Great location and free newspapers in the lobby.
Great location (easy walk to rundle mall, victoria square, restaurants and pubs), friendly staff and comfortable room.
Hotel staff very friendly and location spot on. The price was also very reasonable. A good choice of hotel for a overnight or weekend stay.
Excellent location, within walking distance to shopping, dining, drinking, clubbing, public transportation etc. Rooms are good size and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Pricing is reasonable. I would stay here again for future visits if price stays reasonable.
This was our second stay at the hotel and were very happy with our spa room. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient location for shops, restaurants, casino and local attractions.
Very high standard of accommodation for the price.
Frindly staff and a very quiet place to stay in considering being next to a busy road.
Couldn't fault this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms clean and tidy and the hotel is very close to shops, restaurants and attractions.
An Excellent hotel to provide a base for the Womad experience! Only small gripe is that the TV is old-school.
We were not really happy with the cleanliness of the room-found some items like bottle caps and deodorant that had not been cleaned out and the shower curtain was very grotty. No view at all! However on a positive note the room was quiet and the staff were friendly and helpful
The hotel was very central easy walking to most places it was quiet and would stay there aagain if price was right as it was this visit.
I enjoyed my stay and, due to the bad weather, made good use of it. The room was large with a king size bed, desk, armchair (and footstool) TV, fridge etc. Lots of floorspace, ideal for doing a repack. Bathroom was well lit and roomy. Everything was clean and I loved the soap. Herbal teas were provided as well as the usual. Only problem was the light near the bed. It was difficult to turn it on or off without getting up. Would have preperred to be able to open the windows and have fresh air but the aircon was okay. The room had a luxury feel with nice spread and curtain and for me it represented good value. I stayed two nights and felt comfortable and safe.
I had a great stay got a fantastic price via Hotel Club and enjoyed a spa room at no extra charge. Parking is a concern.
Hi, the booking to the Hotel Grand Chancellor, was made by Dennis Vickery, but I was the one who stayed there. I am a Hotel Club member (Adrian Seward - aseward@pacificservices.com). I was very happy with the Hotel Grand Chancellor and would stay there again. Many thanks.
It is conveniently located in the centre of the Adelaide CBD, few steps from Rundle Mall (Adelaide shopping centre). However, it is an old hotel with an old bulky tv in the room. Bath towels were not changed everyday, so, had to ask for new towels from the reception. Overall, it is a very convenient place to stay.
