Getting there:Hotel Grand Chancellor Surfers Paradise is superbly located in the heart of Surfers Paradise, just a short stroll through to Cavill Mall to Australias most famous beach. The hotel offers convenient access to shopping, restaurants and the famous Surfers nightlife. Directions From Coolangatta Airport From Coolangatta Airport (22km), drive northbound along the Gold Coast Hwy to Cavill Ave Surfers Paradise, then turn right southbound onto Surfers Paradise Blvd. The Hotel entrance is on the corner of Hanlan Street. This hotel does not provide a shuttle service.
Check-in Procedure:Either a Credit Card Authourisation of $100.00, or a Refundable deposit of $200 if paying cash or debit card. This is to cover any incidental charges such as mini bar, meals, beverages, phone calls, etc.
Car parking:Undercover car parking is available at a charge of $15.00 per night for in-house guests.

Stayed here for 7 nights...just loved my oceanbeach view room...extremely great services - room service, reception, concierge, restaurant (beautiful food)..etc....had two kids 8yrs & 12yrs....so having Timezone right outside my door was fantastic. Shopping mall, beach, restaurants..etc at my fingertips....hired a car from CostLess Car rentals opposite the hotel (great rates)...what more can i ask for!....After a long day at the Theme Parks came back to a tidy clean room everyday....Thank You Very Much Lisa & Staff for my lovely stay here....i will be back again...soon.
Service & room good for price. Food a bit costly though.
Location is good n price resonable.But facilities are very old n staff not very friendly. Wouldn't recommend or stay again.

It's a wonderful ocean view room, the views are manificent! Services are great, the pool is a good size, with a hot SPA and gym, we went there to smin everyday. would recommend to anyone and would like to stay there again and again!!
The hotel is getting on and beds and curtains need upgrading. It is well maintained however and if you get a good deal it is worth considering. It is a decent 4* property. Good quiet aircon and great views. The breakfast here was fantastic.
Whilst this hotel isn't the newest on the strip it is in a fantastic location and has great service. The duty manager was using the EFTPOS machine in front of me while I was being served by another staff member so she did the pleasantries and in doing so asked what brought me to stay and I mentioned it was my partners birthday and she asked his name. Soon after arriving to our room a bottle of bubbly and chocolates arrived with a birthday card. This is going above and beyond. We will definitely stay here again!
Myself and partner enjoyed our stay, staff was lovely and the room was as expected by the online pictures we viewed. Our only thing that we were disappointed in is that the pool was heated and wasn't enjoyable during the summer and had mould all around the outside of the pool... not a big dilemma just a little feedback upon our stay,

It was ok but not great
Overall very happy. Great priced hotel especially for its location - literally take a lift from your room level, walk out the hotel and you are in the shops. Our only issues with it was the parking fee and no room service - we used to stay at this hotel when it was Çourtyard Marriott and parking was included - however upon check out we were charged $13 a day which we didnt realise. Also, room service menu's not provided in room and only available when restaurant is open. But overall - pretty happy.
very good location, close to the beach and super market, free wifi in lobby. 2 big size single bed, no added cost for child under 12 years.

Great location in the centre of Surfers Paradise - shopping mall, supermarket, restaurants etc accessible from ground floor lobby - great outlook from beach view rooms - very dissapointing experience at check-in, one staff member on desk at 12.00 midday despite their being a line-up of approx 8 guests (she told us it was lunch time), each check-in (or other query) was taking a frustratingly long time due to the obvious inexperience of the hotel staff - she could find no evidence of hotel club reservation - after a series of phone calls she found another staff to help her locate the reservation from a computer at the back of their office - whole process to check in, including waiting in the queue took more than 1 hour. 20 minutes later there were three staff on the desk with one guest to serve. Hotel getting a little dated - but comfortable enough.
Very well located and convenient to lots of facilities. Very clean and friendly service. Highly recommended. Best hotel for its price.
Hotel was suppose to be a 4 star hotel ,but to me it not everything look old.
