Hotel Grand Continental Melaka

"Hotel is along one of the key roads from Ayer Keroh that leads to Mahkota area - easy to find. Front desk staff, especially Adrian Benjamin, are very friendly, accomodating and knowledgable. The rooms are not 5-star grades but then again, the hotel is rated 3-star : so, bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. Bedsheets/Pillow cases do have some stains - maybe they should use a stronger cleaning detergent! Breakfast is decent - nasi lemak rice is better than some of the rest-stops along North-South highway! Kids will be happy with the cereals and milk. " - Charmaine Sim

"The Hotel provided good service. The only problem was the lack of hot water, although I ran the tap a long time it did not get hot. I stayed in the Executive Suite which was well apportioned. The sheets, while clean, did have some stains on them. The breakfast was very good." - Graham Williamson

"On arrival at about 4pm the room,505, was not without any towels. Had to request twice before we were supplied with two towels at about 7pm. No other towels, face or foot towels, provided on the first day. Next the aircondition was not controllable. It was extremely freezing cold on the first night. Had to call reception at about 3 am who arranged for someone to 'close' the aircon ventillation to warm the room. The same thing happened on the second night. We had to make do with a non-ventillated room to be warm rather than to get frozen. I don't think that they should charge the wifi connection fee at 10MR per hour considering the room rate charged. We'll be using our own laptop computer, rather than using any of the hotel's computers as in an internet or cybercafe. Therefore, considering the factors of price, location, service and facilities provided I don't think my group will ever stay at the said hoted again." - Anonymous
