Hotel Gray D'Albion Cannes

"Excellent location right in the heart of the Cannes shopping district. This is primarily a business hotel and does not offer some of the relaxation facilities found in resort hotels. However the beaches are only 100 meters away so it's not a big problem. I stayed at the hotel for 14 nights on summer vacation and found it to be of high quality, the rooms are very clean, well decorated and spacious and the staff very attentive to customer requirements. "Gray d'Albion is in a great location - right on the Rue d'Antibes and 5 minutes walk to La Croissette. A large hotel with good service. Only comment would be there is no pool or terrace where you can sit outside, with the exception of the restaurant patio. Therefore you need to go to the beach which is great, except for the charges to use the hotel's private beach. 35 euros per person for a sunlounger, towel and parasol per day!! Can work out quite expensive if you are there for a while. The alternative is to use the public beach - bring your own chairs, parasols, towels etc. Perhaps the hotel should discount these charges as they are making money from your stay anyway. Otherwise a great hotel and a great location." - Anonymous
