Recommended by The New York Times, Frommer’s and Let’s Go, this family-run hotel is situated within the last tangerine garden to be found in the heart of Bodrum.
Gulec is a peaceful hotel with fine hospitality and many returning guests. From the hotel, you can easily reach the bus station, castle, bazaar or local beach. Alternatively, the hotel is surrounded by dining opportunities, with Bodrum’s nightlife only a 5-minute walk away.
"HOTEL GULEC; Where price gouging is the norm, it's still possible to get a basic clean room and not break the bank. The HOTEL GULEC is a basic pension with simple furniture and a sparse breakfast, but the price is right. The pension takes up an enormous 6,500-square-foot garden. One of the perks is that the nearby 3 Star hotel, owned by relatives of HOTEL GULEC, allow its guests to use the pool."
