Hotel Irma Zihuatanejo

I had a two week stay and during that time the staff made me feel very much at home. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. Yoga is offered every Monday to Friday in the morning and the instructor is excellent, explaining and monitoring students in both English and Spanish. The spa services were very professional and great value. The sunset views and wonderful location were the icing on the cake. I will be going back!

This hotel has several things going for it: The view is stunning, the food in the restaurant great, the service is wonderful and the architecture has an authentic "old Mexico" feel. Heads up - you must be "fit" as there are many flights of stairs to climb to the rooms, to the pool, to the beach....70 steps from my room on the top floor to the lobby (yep, I counted). The hotel is built into a hillside and at the top of a steep cobblestone street. If you don't mind the excercise or you plan to take taxis (always ready at the door) it won't bother you.

This is such a gem of an all round hotel and location, it will be difficult to match anywhere else in the world.
