"The hotel was perfect, location wise and we had a roof garden which had lovely views across the city." - Barry McArthur
"The Hotel King was in very bad condition. It was untidy (almost filthy), old and it looked like it hasnīt been renovated since the 80īs. In our room there were stains on the wall-to-wall carpet and on the walls. The bath tub was stale and there was some filth on the shower handle and the soap rack. The overall impression of the room was dark and dirty. The hotel was as a whole totally worn-out and altogether terrible. The only good thing was the location and the service wasnīt that bad either, the staff was quite helpfull. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody and I think it shouldnīt be on the market at all and it definitely shouldnīt be rated as a three-star hotel because it was barely a one-star hotel. You can truely get a lot better hotel with the same price which was really, really expensive. " - Anonymous
"The location is excellent, it's about five minutes walking distance from the Spanish steps and around the corner from the Trevi fountain. The staff in Hotel were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a twin room, to the front of the hotel, which was small (probably average by Rome standards), but it was clean and wasn't noisy at night (we stayed from thurs to sun night in mid May). Breakfast was included - there was lots of bread and plates of cheese and ham on offer and if you wanted to get an omelette etc this was extra. If you want a basic, clean, central hotel I would recommend this Hotel. " - Anonymous
