Hotel Kingdom Kaohsiung

Although the building itself is a little old, this hotel is kept in a very good condition. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are well-trained, speak good English and would go out of their way help their guests. Any concern is acted upon immediately. Breakfast is very good. The hotel, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, is surrounded by numerous restaurants of every kind. I had a wonderful stay in Hotel Kingdom. I would definitely stay here again in my next visit to Kaohsiung.

A good hotel that is just two minutes walk to the Love River.

Cheerful and friendly ladies at the hotel reception. Speak good english. Room is clean and posh. I stayed in a room on the 18th floor. Room window is facing other rooms. No view for me. The only thing bad was that the in-built aircon/heater is not producing enough heat to keep me warm in the chilling winter. No seperate heater is provided unlike some other hotels.

Excellent hotel rooms with relative good location. Minutes to MRT station and good services. Moreover, the price is cheap... Unbelievable!!!

Old lobby but the room is clean and tidy. Breakfast is enough but don't expect it's very nice. The location is a little far away from the main city and shopping department stores. High spending in taxi fee. I just can offer this Hotel with 3 stars *** but not the 5 stars in this hotel booking website. I would recommend to stay at Splendor which near the airport and main shopping areas. Spend more to enjoy much more. If there is a room on Nov 28, I will not stay at Hotel Kingdom Kaohsiung. ^^

The hotel was centrally located for what we needed. The staff were very nice and helpful especially we only knew basic mandarin chinese. Housekeeping staff was very good. We put up a sign not to clean our room but they still verified that we really didn't want to when they saw us. Breakfast food was good. Overall, we'll stay in this hotel again if we come back to taiwan.

will come back here! we loved our 2 nights stay. staff was very nice and room was CLEAN. Bed was very confortable. we felt home. The price we paid was worth it. it's very close to the loveriver. taxis are not expensive. with U$$4 it got us to the nightmarkets area.Outside the hotels are many tiny places where u can have a great local breakfast to start the day.

Found the loction to be very good. Walking distance from the hotel. Loads of good shops and good international food.Located close to teh Flim acheives. Good palce to spend your time and watch free movies. Staff was not to bad as were able to communicate in English. Tried the Dim Sum lunch buffet at the restaurant in the hotel . Food was just Ok.. Again, need to ask for room with a good view of the Love river
