The service was superb We had problems with flight changes and the Receptionist offered to help and resolved our problems quickly, a great relief to us. This was the general responses at all levels of customer care we experienced at the Lindrum. Location was very good, centrally situated and near free tram. We would definitely stay there again and we will recommend it to friends.
Staff helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed the ambience of the hotel. would definitely return.
The Studio rooms are spaciously appointed with one Queen size bed or two single beds. The deep green and dark hardwood finishes are highlighted with shades of creams and muted browns, creating a warm and homely ambiance.

A stylish chaise sofa featured at the foot of the King size bed, gives additional space, with plenty of area to relax and unwind. The subtle down lights beside the bed and freestanding lamps create a definite sense of mood and intimacy. Dark polished floorboards surround the plush woven carpet, leading into the bathroom. The extra space combined with soft colours and lush interiors make this an ideal room to relax in.
These rooms are ideal for the traveler who wants a little added space and luxury. A solid wooden divider inset with a large television separates the bedroom from an intimate sitting area that contains a second television, and chaise sofa. The Junior Suites are positioned at the rear of the hotel and have four large windows creating an abundance of light and an open inviting atmosphere. The sleeping area features a luxurious King size bed complete with a deluxe feather doonah.
Nice boutique hotel - great location. Only down side pillow too soft if I had stayed another night I would have requested a change
The room was very large but only had a double bed. As most people these days have at least a queen at home it was disappointing to be so squashed.
Nice hotel, good service, but a little bit far from the CBD if you don't catch the tram from outside the hotel.
Lindrum was really nice. We had twin room with 2 single beds. Service was great, even at 1am when we required extra blankets, they had them to us within 10 mins. Couldn't fault the hotel or staff.
This hotel offers a pillow menu. Unfortunately, there was no menu in our room and I was not aware of the existence of the menu at the time. I found it very difficult to sleep with the standard pillow as it was too thick and hard.
a fantastic hotel - highly recommended
Great billiards table in the bar.
Sensational hotel! The staff Nelly and Tai especially were wonderful!!!
Beautiful. Stunning interior design, high ceilings, friendly staff, an excellent place to stay if you're looking for a stylish, relaxed accommodation, as opposed to the glitz and glamour of a 5 star giant hotel.
A really comfortable yet stylish hotel with a personal feel, and close to shopping, train station & the MCG.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making our stay very comofortable. The room was stunning and our stay was very enjoyable! A lovely, intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.
For a 4-4.5 star boutique hotel, we were surprised there was no slippers, tooth paste and tooth brushes offered as amenities. This isn't a big deal for us. However, if you are promoting yourself as a boutique hotel with a large clientel of business travels which we noticed as the case, details do count.
Great hotel - would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.
This is our second visit to the Lindrum, and we loved it. We had a Deluxe room with a view which is one of the better rooms, and it was fantastic. The continental buffet breakfast is much better than a lot of other hotels. We also appreciated the late 11.00am check-out and the offer to store our bags while we met some friends in the city.
a warm, welcoming, personal hotel with excellent staff. my first stay at the lindrum, but definitely not my last.
Exquisitely appointed hotel in the heart of Melbourne. Certainly one of the best that Melbourne has to offer.
Staff were excellent, extremely accomodating and more than willing to give suggestions of places to go to and organise it for you. We also had occassion to use the boardroom and the facilities were great, food / beverages for the event were excellent. Overall a very good experience, we will be booking our next conference with the Lindrum again.
This boutique hotel had come highly recommended. Therefore, I was disappointed. The location is not bad but not as central as the Novotel or Westin. It is a shame that nearly all the rooms (except Deluxe, the most expensive, of course) seem to look out on a parking lot. In view of this you can't see outside to see if it's raining or not, let alone see a view!! Very nice rooms and ambiance but all a bit claustrophobic and dingy due to the very poor outlook. Nice large bathrooms though! Would try somewhere else next time as a nice hotel really adds to the experience.
