"A very good position, very handy for the airport bus which stops just at the end of the street, a short walk to the city centre, but a bit further from the railway station than the hotel seems to think.
Plenty of good lunches & dinners in nearby restaurants. Hotel buffet breakfasts well presented and wide choice. Good sized quiet bedroom with efficient and quiet air conditioning but little day light. Clean and well maintained. Good choice of channels on satelite TV.

It is also set near the main museums and monuments and It is well connected with the whole town.

The Hotel supplies Superior rooms and Suites with private garden and exclusive forniture.
The breakfast room with indoor garden offers outstanding buffets with fresh brioches and fruits.

Indeed, Metropolitan Hotel has been choosen from TIN.IT to share together with Rome, Milan and London Aeroports, an experimental plan.

From the railway station: is just 3 minutes by taxi or by foot is 5 minutes walking up to Via Indipendenza direction Piazza Maggiore.
from the airport to the city centre:
-By taxi: taxis are available from the airport to the city centre. The journey takes about 15 minutes and costs approximately 12-15 euros.
-By bus: the aereobus bus service operates from outside the main terminal building between 6 am-11.50 pm. It operates approximately every 20 minutes, tickets can be purchased on board for 6 euro. The nearest bus-stop to the hotel is: Via Indipendenza-Arena del Sole theatre.
An alternative bus service is Cittadino 91 which operates every hour just outside the airport at the cost of 1 euro.
