"We had a very pleasant stay in the Hotel. The surroundings were very pretty, and in spite of refurbishment, the staff were friendly and efficient. We were offered tea or coffee upon check in, which could be brought to our rooms. After having been shown to our rooms by the receptionist, we discovered them to be clean and spacious. Complementary tea, coffee and mints were provided. The bathroom was fairly large and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and rather expansive in choice, and was served in a bright airy room overlooking the river. The highlight of our stay was the Hotel owners dog, Sparkie, who was always available to welcome guests!" - Anonymous
