Check-in Procedure:Check in time from 15:00 and check out time is 11:00 at ground floor of New Grand Tower. Japanese legislation makes it mandatory that you,as a"non-resident foreign guest,"present your passport and have it photocopied as well as having your nationality. Luggage can be stored at reception if the guest arrives before room is ready.
Car parking:We have our car parking lot in property, JPY 1500 per night. (maximum 150 cars)
Child Policy:Child under 6 years is free of charge if sharing bed with parents.
I have stayed in this Hotel several times and the rooms in the Tower are not as good as the others. As with Japanese hotels in general, I find them overpriced but the New Grand represents value in it's niche and the location is excellent.
Very good 4 star hotel. We were at one of the top, executive floors and the room was great with fantastic views.

This is a fantastic hotel. Our rooms had the most superb view over the harbour area, which we really enjoyed, especially as we stayed for a week. The location was excellent and train station about a 2 minute walk away, so, easy to get everywhere. There is a super shopping mall just 3 stops away. Everything at the New Grand was perfect and the service, truly 5 star! The girls at the guest relations desk were great. They went out of their way to help and answer all our questions regarding all sorts of tourist info and how to get from A to B etc.. They even found us an airport hotel on a very busy Japanese holiday night and arranged to have our bags sent directly to that hotel. Thank you New Grand for a wonderful stay!
Excellent bathtub and great location on the subway.
We were on the 14th floor with superb views over the harbour - breakfast in the Normandie was excellent but expensive - even by UK standards! Some minor complaints - room did not have hair dryer or advertised internet access but these were quickly put right by the very helpful staff. We had asked for a non-smoking room and were concerned to note ashtrays and matches provided but there was absolutely no trace of tobacco aroma, either in the room or in the corridors. In conclusion, an excellent hotel and well positioned for access to the Minatoramirai conference facilities.
First class and excellent value for the price. Compares exceptionally well to other 5-star hotels that I have stayed at.
