This is an excellent facility and I would highly recommend it for a Kyoto stay. I was on a business trip and others on the trip stayed in other facilities that were no where near the quality of the Nikko Princess. The staff worked very hard to accommodate my needs including providing instructions in Japanese that I could use throughout my day. The only glitch I had at the hotel was the room service person spoke very little English and I was unable to order all that I wanted for a meal but this was an isolated incident in an otherwise excellent stay.
We stayed here for the New Year celebrations and found the staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Even the restaurant and bar staff spoke English and were all delightful. Impeccably clean and the Japanese restaurants were stunning!
