I thought this hotel was decent. I think it's hard to find a cheap, quiet, decent place to stay overnight in Seoul, and I would stay there again. I think a lot of Japanese tourists and businessmen stay there a lot, so they had certain shops set up near the hotel, like a small nail salon, a foot massage place, and there was a very nice cafe bene. It's confusing because there are two builidngs. I actually stayed in the Meridian, but they are close, separated by the cafe bene. Also, I thought that the hotel would be in Dongdaemun, but it's closest to Janghanpyeong station, line 5. I wasn't super impressed, but it wasn't loud and it was decent enough for a good price. The worst thing was the room smelled like smoke. Also, the bath didn't seem clean enough for me, so I used the shower instead. It was a nice bath, but it just felt kind of greasy. Anyway, I recommend this place if you are short on cash and just need a place that's dependable and moderately clean.
Best suitable for business travelers, this spacious room is practical with a deluxe home environment. Twin rooms are specially equipped with all of the conveniences for the frequent business traveler.
A clean and comfortable hotel with very helpful staff.
Budget price, however, the location is not so close to the central shopping area. not far from the subway.
good location and nice place to stay
Recommended for budget travellers.
The nearest subway is Janghyanpeon (Line 5) - 5mins walk from hotel. From there, you are accessed to entire Seoul Subway line. From Incheon airport, pls. take the airport limousine (Airport Shuttle Bus) number 6103 (Won9000/pax). You will stop at the main road (in front Samsonite shop). Meanwhile, you have to cross the main road to take the (Airport Shuttle Bus) back to Incheon airport. Hotel room is spacious & clean. There are plenty of Korean restaurants, bakery & conveniance stores within walking distance. However, very less people can converse in English even simple one in this area. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. Recommended for travellers who wish to look for not so crowded area.
not bad at all.. little far out from the CDB
Location for an American is a little isolated, but as has always been my experience in Korea, I have never felt unsafe in Seoul as long as I stay away from large gatherings and mind my own business. A good location to immerse yourself in Korean Culture and cuisine. If you tend to favor Western things, this location will be a little far from that in Seoul. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone.
Nice place just a bit far off the main track
