Hotel One in Rotterdam is an elegant 4-star hotel that breathes the atmosphere and personality of a small-scale hotel. The hotel's central location will please both the business traveller and the tourist. Unfortunately we are not able for an indefinite period of time to serve breaksfast or roomservice. It is not surprising that the hotel is therefore focused on comfort and personal service. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet and in addition offer double-pane windows, an LCD flatscreen television, a safe, mini bar, and coffee and tea making facilities. Also, owners of a laptop can use the hotel's free lan Internet connection. Most of all, Hotel One is centrally location which makes it an excellent starting point for an exploration of the city. In the surrounding area you will find many of Rotterdam's most important attractions: the City Hall, the Coolsingel, and the subterranean shops of the 'Beurstraverse,' known locally as the 'Koopgoot' (Shop Gutter). To top it all off, within 100 metres from the hotel there is a bus and tram stop, and at less than 400 metres you will find the nearest metro station. This will make it very easy to enjoy all of Rotterdam's remaining attractions. Hotel One is the ideal starting point for a successful stay in the city of Rotterdam.

Car parking:The hotel does not have its own parking places for its guests. There are two public parking structures only a few minutes' drive away and there are many public parking spaces in the street of the hotel.
Child Policy:Children can only stay on request. Children up to 2 years old can stay in the parents' room for free.; children older than 6 years can stay at a charge of €35 a night. Both option are only possible after confirmed by the hotel.
Located only 5-10 minutes from the central train station, the hotel is close to many fine restaurants and cafes. The main harbour is a short walk away, as is a beautiful park called Het. The hotel itself is very good. The service was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious by Dutch standards, and the bathroom was newly tiled. The only knock on the hotel was the constant noise from the trams but that's what happens when you're located centrally. The breakfast was outstanding. There was a great selection of ham, pate, salmon mix, curried chicken, egg, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, bread, croissant. And this was included in the cost of the room as well! There was a lift but very small. The stairs were narrow and quite steep but if you're relatively fit this should prove only a minor inconvenience. Remember, you only have to walk up the stairs once with luggage. I recommend this hotel very highly and would stay here should I ever visit Rotterdam again.
There was a damp smell in the room & it was very tiny, the price was good for Rotterdam and is close to the train station, although can be difficult to find initially due to the current building being done at the station

Very nice, upper class hotel in a great location for the central train station and easy access to the city centre.
The hotel is definately not bad especially compared to the price. The rooms are a bit too small though and it is a shame that no breakfast could be offered in the restaurant next door as they used to do.
Though an older hotel, the fact that it has recently been renovated made the stay enjoyable and convenient for my needs. Personnel were very courteous and professional at all times.
Very congested place - the staircase, passage etc are not appealing though the room I stayed was spacious. Carpet in the room gives it a dirty look.
