Hotel Orion Prague

It was my 3rd short vacation trip to Prague. I've always had great experience with Prague hotels, but "Orion" was beyond my expectations! The hotel is located in the quiet residential area, not too far from the center. It is 5min walking to Namesti Miru subway station (A line), and tram #22 (scenic route). However, if you prefer walking, it will take you 10min to get to Wenceslas square (if you know shortcuts), 20min to Palladium shopping center, and 30min to reach Old Town Square. The hotel is very clean and cozy, with beautiful lobby, an elevator, and elegant staircase. It’s run by friendly staff who speaks good English. Special thanks to Martina, who took her time to help me activate the local SIM card on my phone! Reliable Wi-Fi Internet connection is available in the lobby as well as guest rooms. However, if you do not have a computer with you, there is a desktop PC in the lobby for guest access. Rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings and great new furniture. My room felt more like a residential apartment rather than a hotel room: a hallway separates fully equipped kitchen from spacious bedroom, which has an elegant office desk, and a safe. "Orion" will be the hotel of my choice during my next trip to Prague.

For the price, this is a great deal. We stayed in the apartment style room for 4 people. It was very nice with two big bedrooms, a full kitchen and hallway. It's about 10 min. walk to St. Wenceslas square, but about 30 min. from the rest of turistic Prague. But, if you can read a map, you'll get around without any problems. The metro has a stop about .5km from the hotel. I would definately recommend this place.

good hotel with friendly people. Although I stayed already a couple of times there I had now a room on the 6th. floor, just under the roof, which was less convenient than the other times. More light due to the roof windows and the lift only goes up to the 5th. floor.

It was a wonderful hotel, three blocks from a metro station. It was truly a flat/apartment, with all dishes supplied. I would stay there again, and would recommend to anyone who plans to save money by eating in. Prague is wonderful, and I recommend the city to everyone who wants to go on a great trip.

A lovely place to stay. Not far from the city centre (1 stop by metro) or short tram ride. Great base for a fantatic city.

Very nice hotel, I used to come here for business. I can recommend Orion.. Nice big studio.. A walk to the museum (center) takes abouth 10 minutes so the location is perfect. And lot's of cheap restaurants/bars in the street "Americka".

I would say the two problems with the rooms were that the beds only had one pillow each and also there wasnt a kettle. The staff were very helpful when asked for extra pillows. The hotel is very well situated.

Excellent hotel. Spotless. Brilliant value for money. Fully fitted kitchen, large bedroom and sitting area. Couldn't fault it. Close to metro in quiet area. Would definitely stay again.

We had two adults and four children in this HUGE apartment and it was great. Nice location to the sights and to the tram/subway systems. All the staff was very friendly. Only point of contention was parking but another hotel works in conjunction with the Orion and we finally found a place to park our van and leave it under watchful eyes. We walked everywhere and took the tram one day. We really enjoyed it.

Still within walking distance of the city centre. The facilities are good as you get a feel of space in the accommodation and it more like a living in a flat than just a hotel room.

Hotel situated in a very quiet housing area, 5 mins walk from tram and underground. Very spacious apartment with modern kitchen. Only thing lacking was an air conditioning device, and fresh batteries in the TV remote control.

Convenient location close to metro and trams. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was spacious, clean, bright and comfortable. Overall excellent value for moneya dn would highly recommend it

Would definitely recommend!

This is a basic apartment hotel, but it is clean and convenient. A basic but decent breakfast is included and conveniently, you can buy well priced refreshments, postcards, etc. at the reception. It is only a few blocks away from the metro and trams that take you to the center in about 5-10 minutes (including wait). It is equivalent to a 3 star hotel. Would stay there again, but might prefer to pay a bit more for something more central if just staying for a night.

quiet location yet very handy for public transport

This was fantastic value for money. The hotel was spotless, the entrance modern and clean. The receptionists all spoke good English. The rooms in the apartment were huge, and the kitchen looked as if it had never been used. There was a fridge, cooker and hob, and a coffee machine. We will definitely book there again when we return to Prague.

Our appartment was very large and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Orion Flathotel. The hotel is clean and very close to metro and tram stop. More over is near to National Museum (10 min walk) so very convinience if you are late at night. We enjoy also the small finish sauna. The breakfast is cold even the Christmas day.Our next time in Prague for sure we will stay at the same hotel.

Five of us stayed in a large room on the 4th floor, there were 2 rooms with 2 single beds in each room and a sofa bed in the lounge. The sofa bed was rubbish , so i slept on the couch. The location is perfect , as it is just out of town and quiet but as enough bars and places to eat so you don't have to go into the centre to eat and be overcharged.
