Clean but rather small standard double rooms. Poor bedside lightning. Nice and helpful staff at the reception desk.
Good sized room for a family with double and twin beds and two bathrooms. Close to the metro which was great for getting around. Worth walking into the area nearby to see the Cafe's and restuaurants.
Very clean, well kept and quiet hotel. Good service and approach. Breakfeast buffet rather modest but what you would expect from the pricing. Will certainly return on my next Paris trip.
Friendly staff, very clean premises, great breakfast - the coffee was specially good - and fantastic location. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again.
nice and comfortable hotel, good lacation, testy breakfest, friendly staff, expensive internet
Great location, short walk to the river.
Very nice hotel. Great the family room with 2 separate bathroom. I will visit again if necessary
We (2 adults/2children) stayed for 1 night in a quadruple room. It was very spacy, with 2 bathrooms (one with shower, one with a bath). Good price for the quality offered. Just one thing (but the hotel can't help that : very noisy street (people shouting and music). Very close to subway en good area !
Rooms were really hot, otherwise nice hotel
Very pleased with the rate compared to the quality. Nice location and very clean hotel. Also a good breakfast. Alas we lost the key of our roomsafe, and the hotel charged € 50(!) for a new key... That was a bit of a minus. The rest was OK. Recommendable hotel.
The hotel is located near a metro with easy access to the whole city. The room was big for a hotel in Paris and well designed. The people at the desk and the people serving breakfast were very nice.
hotel situated in excellent position 2 mins walk from bastille underground. excellent service. cleanliness excellent. very good continental buffet breakfast. would definately stay again
Excellent location - right next to the metro station Very helpful staff Clean hotel Good value for money.
Friendly helpful staff, fine rooms, 100m from the Metro at Bastille.
Excellent location. Right opposite the Metro for Bastille which is very useful. Only 1.40 Euro for a one way metro ticket across Paris. We did walk most of Paris though as the Bastille isn't too far from the Louvre and Notre Dame... if you walk a bit further you can do Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower too... then metro it back to the hotel for 1.40 Euro! Good continental breakfast to set you up for the day too. Rooms basic but very clean. Recommended as a good base to sightsee Paris, we'd go again. Tip: Louvre and Arc de Triomphe (climb to top) are free entry on Sundays. From CDG Airport, get the RER train for 8.40 Euro to Gare du Nord (half hour), then Metro to Bastille (line 5) for 1.40 Euro (20 mins, maybe less). Beware of con artists at Gare du Nord, they will try to sell you higher priced metro tickets.
We have been to Paris to watch the Tennis Tournement "Roland Garros" but we also wanted to have the possibility to have a nightlife. The hotel is in the center of Bastille which is very nice to stay out at night. It's the place to go! Also very near from the Metro station (150m). martin@superstettler.org
Great place to stay! The junior suite was spacious ( for Paris standards) and it was great to have two bathrooms. Location is excellent, only one minute by foot to Bastille metro. Many restaurants very close by. Breakfast was rather good with plenty of pastries, ham, cheese, eggs etc etc. Service was excellent, very friendly desk staff. Looking forward to returning !
A small, nice and quiet hotel. Room was clean, even simple and small. Breakfast buffet was good enough. The location very close to Bastille Metro station (lines 1, 5 and 8).
Friendly and charming staff. It is perfectly located to the Place de la Bastille. Just a small walk to the Metro, Bus station and to the Tourist bus. Also the Gare de Lyon is a few minutes a way. Last but not least: The Bastille Opera is in front, the Marais and also the old Jewish quarter is just a little walk away, as is the tourist boat station on the Seine. The rooms have everything that you need. They are very clean. For Paris: The hotel has a very good pricing .
Great location, clean hotel. Exactly what is needed when staying in Paris.
