"The immediate suroundings of the hotel are not very appealing, but thelocation of it, ie within walking distance to Istanbul's major attractions, incuding most mosques and the shopping centers, as well as to the ferryboat departures -- well compensates for the surroundings. " - Anonymous

Safe area for family and young children With nice rooms, Attendents at the hotel were very hospitable and very helpful. "Maybe in one or two years the hotel will deserve a better rating But just now it is very close to an area where there are a lot of construction work and you have to adjust to the dust and noise, difficult access by car. Also, people from the reception desk are not helpful all the time. Sometimes they seem overwhelmed by their job. Also be aware that you have to pay some extras for the included breakfast, for instance for the fresh orange juice, which it was a surprise. " - Anonymous
