"I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was extremely noisy and very small, and there were hair in the shower and other leftovers from the last guest. The first night I could not sleep due to the noise from the traffic. When I arrived I was told not to do my laundry in my room or bring friends and family to the room, which I thought were rather rude since I certainly did not plan on doing either of those things. The breakfast was just bread and croissants with jam. Most of the staff was neither helpful, nor friendly." - Marthe Lillefjaere Andersen

"We went for a football match at the Stadio Dragao. We had a great day by the river, only a 10 minute walk downhill. It was a bit harder on the way back, especially after a few beers! The hotel is situated in the heart of the city and there's three Metro stations within a 10 minute walk too. If you just need a room for a night or two then this hotel will do the job." - Anonymous

Hotel description:    Occupying the whole of this magnificent building (of architectural interest), "Residencial dos Aliados" has 38 comfortable rooms with private bathroom, 19 of which has a private balcony with a panoramic view of the city, including a view of Avenida dos Aliados. All the rooms are equipped air conditioners, hairdryer, Wi-Fi Internet access , direct outside phone lines , automatic wake up calls and Satellite /Cable television.

Besides the rooms, it has other facilities equally comfortable and functional, like the lounge, bar and breakfast room.

Getting there: From the airport:
If you take a taxi, you should ask for Avenida dos Aliados, and the estimated trip cost is 30,00€.

If you rent a car, the best way to follow will be: IC1 (Av AIP), Boa vista Square ("Rotunda da Boa vista"), "Rua Júlio Dinis" (heading to the Crystal Palace - "Palácio de Cristal”), "Rua dos Clérigos" just until its end, where you'll arrive at Aliados Avenue.

Coming by Metro:
Take the line E (Violet) which connects from the Airport to the Dragon Statium. At the Trindade Station change metro taking the yellow line "D", in direction João de Deus - Gaia . The stop for the hotel is Aliados.

Coming by train:
São Bento railway station should be your destination. This station is only 5 minutes away, on foot, from the Residential.

Coming by bus:
The following buses serve the Avenue 1, 3, 5, 7, 20, 24, 41, 49, 50, 52, 54, 56, 71, 72, 77, 79, 83, 84, 87, 90, 91, 92 ,200, 201, 300, 301, 303,501, 600, 800 and 801.

Car parking: We do not have an hotel car park. However we have several public parking facilities all within 200m from the hotel.
