This is a great hotel..good customer services and friendly staff.good location just next to the nishi shinjuku station.
I stayed in the hotel from 20/12/10 till 02/01/11. we stayed in a triple room, the service is great and staff is helpful, the room is not as big as in like western country. but with the location and price in Shinjuku is great. Subway rail is just across the road, it is only 10 mintues walk to JR rail.
I recently stayed 5 nights at the Rose Garden Hotel which is located on the more peaceful western side of Shinjuku. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The room was small (what else is new in Tokyo) but very clean and was serviced thoroughly on a daily basis. But it is all about location with the Rose Garden Hotel--- 10 minutes walk to Shinjuku Station, 30 metre walk to the Nishi-shinjuku subway station (Marunouchi Line) allows you easy access to the Tokyo transport system. Also there are 4 convenience stores and 3 coffee shops within a 200 metre radius of the hotel. An absolute winner of a hotel which I am very happy to recommend to all Tokyo visitors.
An excellenet choice.
Good things: Close to some good metro lines (don't go for Shinjuku) Fairly good service Clean rooms Negative things: Not as good as Hotel Monterey in Ginza which was the same price. You stay in a business district
The room is small but very clean and comfortable. The spacious dining room and American and Japanese breakfast buffet are terrific. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Overall, a very comfortable and welcome stay right in the heart of Shinjuku across the street from a metro stop
The room is quite small but I think its average for Japanese standards. Overall I was satisfied with the cleanliness and location of the Hotel. However pricing wise is on the high side.
Good hotel, 10 mins walk from Shinjuku Station. Very helpful staff, an excellent breakfast and a pleasant place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the Rose Garden Hotel. Our room was small, but well appointed with a nice deep bath. The location of this hotel is excellent - 10 minutes walk from the station area and all its attractions. Our only real complaint was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. When we booked we asked for a room on a non-smoking floor, but were put on a smoking floor. Luckily, the weather was great (early-October) and we were able to leave the window open at night. The hotel laundry service is very expensive.
Nice inexpensive hotel in a good location, 5 mins walk to shinjuku train station, restaurants out in the front of hotel.
The room is extremely clean, though a little small. I like the free internet usage. Just bring your own laptop and a cable. If you forget to bring a cable, just deposit 500 yen for a cable and you can get it back. The location is walking distance to a subway. From there you can go to any parts of Tokyo.
Very close to the Subway station, 15mins walking distance to Shinjuku JR station. Room is well-keep and tidied throughout our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Garden. The location was about 5-10mins from Shinjuku station and had lots of day and night life in the area! The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were small, but in comparison to the 2 other hotels we stayed in, this was the cheapest and had the biggest room. We were 100% happy with our choice at this hotel.
The only bad thing is the size of their hotel room. Other than that, the service is good and the hotel is jus next to nishi-shinjuku subway station which allows to travel to lots of places.
A little farther from Shinjuku station, but very close to Nishi-Shinjuki metro stop (1 stop away from station). Still easily walkable to Shinjuku central area. Price break is well worth it.
The location is good, only one munute walk from Nishishinjuku Station. Buffet breakfast includes Japanese and international varieties for only 1,000 Yen/person, worth a try!. Hotel staff are efficient and very helpful.
A very good hotel and Shinjuku is the best location in Tokyo.
Staff werent particularly friendly, but they were not rude either. The aircon did not work at night, so it was really warm to sleep in. However, the good price and the location was worth it I guess! The room was not small for Japanese standards
This hotel is recommended for the price in Shinjuku area. The small room is very clean, it is about 5- 10 min walk from the crowds. I would go back for the next trip to Shinjuku.
Excellent location, near to Tokyo Metro. About 8-10mins of walking to Shinjuku station.
