"This is a great hotel very close to the port, so easy walking to beautiful scenery! We were there at the height of high season, so the cost was high. The staff was very accomodating. Be sure to reserve a parking space (they have fewer spaces than rooms!). Off site parking is available, with free shuttle service to and from, but it is a bit of a hassle..." - John Schmidt

"We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel as from its name we thought it was a low-quality chain but it was great. Excellent location, period architecture maintained, superbly clean, and very friendly front desk. Plus a very handy service of two free internet terminals in their foyer. Even on a bank weekend it did not feel busy. Would recommend it to anyone. The bedrooms are small but clean and well-equipped, including with a huge flatscreen tv on the wall. The full buffet breakfast for 9 euros was better value than anywhere in town." - Anna Skarbek
