"I had changed hotels four times before I found Hotel Santo Tomas. I absolutely loved the place. It is just a beautiful place and the restaurant on the premises is top notch. It was the tastiest food I had the whole trip. I will never again stay anywhere else when I am in San Jose. It was a wonderful hotel at a great prices. How can you beat that?" - Valerie Bequette

"We stayed 2 nights at Santo Tomas. The first night we were there we were put in a room over the noisy street. The traffic was unbearable until 3 AM. There is no airconditioning in the hotel so the windows stay open with no screens on them. In fact, one of the windows was broken so it could not be closed if we wanted to. We paid $1.00 for 20 minutes use of the internet. On the second day, we asked to be moved to an inside room. The day manager wondered why the night manager had given us that room since we had been scheduled for the quieter room to start with. At breakfast other patrons were talking that the price was too high to pay for this type of hotel. I agree" - Judy Watters

Hotel Santo Tomas is a Victorian mansion located approximately three blocks from the Jade Museum and eight miles from San Jose Airport. This location is also within walking distance of the Gold Museum, one kilometer from the National Museum and Central Market, and three miles from the US Embassy.
Hotel amenities include the fitness center, complimentary tropical breakfast, bar service, Restaurant El Oasis, and solar-heated pool with Jacuzzi, waterfall, and waterslide. Safety deposit boxes, a concierge, currency exchange, and laundry service are available for our guests.
All rooms feature cable TVs, high-speed Internet access at no charge, ceiling fans, and telephone. Air-conditioning is not available.
