On top of the green rich hill with Southern Europe resort hotel like presence sits the “Hotel Sekia”. The vast green that spreads in front of your eyes will lure you to a different world. The hotel opened on April 18, 1998 and has 153 rooms. What is unique about this hotel is that all rooms are facing towards the mountains. There is hot spring bath available all year long and also a pool open during summer. There are two restaurants: Grand Sekia and Ilmonte. Grand Sekia is a buffet restaurant where you can enjoy not just delicious Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes but also cooking performance to entertain your eyes (Open hours: lunch 11:30-14:00, dinner 17:30-21:00). Ilmonte is a stylish Italian restaurant located by the pool side. The hand made raw pasta is very popular (Open hours: lunch 11:30-14:00, dinner 17:30-21:00). Breakfast buffet is served in Grand Sekia.

From Fukuoka Airport (International and domestic flights) : take the Nishitetu expressway bus heading to Omuta/Arao station and get off at Hokkai bus station. Take the taxi to the hotel. (total about 70 min)
By Car : 5 min from the Kyushu Expressway Interchange (Kyushu Jidoushadou Nankan Interchange)
Free shuttle bus from Omuta station to Hotel Sekia. Leaves Omuta (10:30/12:30/15:00/16:30/19:00)
