Exellent location for both business and leisure travelers those accessing the city by JR Shinkansen Line.
Check-in Time: 2:00 PM
Check-out Time: 11:00 AM
Getting there:The hotel is just a few steps from the East exit of JR Shin-Osaka Station and a five minutes walk from the Subway Shin-Osaka Station. It is a very conveient location for acess in and around Osaka, and both Kyoto and Kobe are just thirty minutes away by train.
Check-in Procedure:
Car parking:YEN 1000 per night from 14:00 to 11:00 which is first come first service.
Child Policy:Children under 12 years old are free of charge when using existing bedding.
Highly recommended
Also Read my previous review of Hotel Shin Osaka. Highly recomended hotel for price and location. Friendly service. They even helped us book Ninja Cafe in Tokyo!
Rooms are medium in size with good facilities including internet LAN access free of charge.
This plan is for two persons staying at the large single room. The size of the bed is semi-double size(120cm in width).
Our twin rooms are very wide and the lavatory and the bathroom are situated separately. It is possible to make the room TRIPLE Room by putting an extra bed. Many restaurants are found in JR Shin-osaka station that is just one minute by walk.
Extremely close to JR Shin-Osaka station. Entrance is just across the road, but don't be fooled by back door entrance. Hotel is not what it seems. Highly recommended hotel for price and location. Use this place to stay and use as a hub for day trips out and about Osaka. Will definitely go back here next time in Japan.
only mintues to the hotel from Shin Osaka Station thus making it very convenient to take the JR train to anywhere in Osaka or elsewhere.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel for more then one night. This really is an overnight hotel. Very conveniently located but lacking in some very basic things like a closet. It seems clear that it is a "sleeper hotel" where people stay for the night after arriving into Shin-Osaka late with the intention of leaving via Shin-Osaka the very next day. Which is what we did.
love it, stay there twice and will stay there for the third time if I travel to japan
really close to the train station, and very clean, only complaint is that the laundry isn't in the hotel itself
Very nice place and if you take the right exit from JR station the hotel entrance is immediately across the road. You can borrow a laptop with internet access all for 1000 yen per night.
bed was not in good condition and quite small also
This is a sleeper. It is located right next to Shin-Osaka Station where the bullet train stops. The room (twin) is considerabley larger than other business hotels we used in Japan and the price is one of the lowest. The entrace does not look great but the room is great. It is clean and the staff is helpful.
Room smelled of cigarette smoke--the only real drawback to this hotel. Staff was good; breakfast was reasonably priced. An easy walk to the Shin-Osaka train station, which provides easy access to Kyoto.
Lobby was under renovation. I believe the restaurant was closed pretty much the whole time I was there. Very close to the ShinOsaka station so convenient location. Nothing much to see around this place. Rooms were pretty good size given everything is small in Japan. Overall it was a clean, pleasant stay. The check in guy was nice and professional! I'd stay here again!
The Hotel Shin-Osaka was very conveniently located adjacent to the Shin-Osaka railway station. The only thing to note was in the morning when we got up to shower every water outlet in the bathroom (including the toilet) had hot water - which made showering impossible. This problem did not exist when we arrived the previous night. Due to the language-barrier we could not convey the problem to the desk staff.
Small, slightly dusty rooms with no fantastic facilities to speak of. Staff spoke some English and were eager to please. A restaurant and vending machines are on the ground floor. However, excellent location (literally a 5-minute walk from Shin'Osaka Station), which makes this hotel exceptionally convenient for those looking to use the hotel as a base and taking trains to other locations (eg. Kyoto, Himeji, Nara).
This Hotel is visible from the windows of the southern-side of Shin-Osaka station. The rooms are huge compared to those of Tokyo (although we did have a triple room). Very adequate spacing considering your in Japan, 2 min walk from Shin-Osaka JR Trains and 3min from Shin-Osaka subway. We stayed here for two nights, whilst en-route to Tokyo but had plenty of time to see Osaka Castle, and many other excellent sights! Average quality but nothing complain about, and friendly staff. Fairly good for price, But location is excellent!
Budget station hotel. A little dated, but good location if you are just transferring through Osaka. Breakfast was ok (combination of Japanese and continental breakfast).
Great location for Shinkasen trains as only 30 sec from Shinosaka station. Also easy acess to Oaska and Kyoto by all kinds of transport. Room average by Japanese standards, staff friendly and helpful. A convenience store is next door and "zillions" of food and drink outlets across the road in Shinosaka station. I would definately stay there again !!!
We only used the hotel as a stopover on our way to Tokyo. We arrived late from Osaka airport and staff were very helpful. It is on older style hotel but rooms are a good size. It was also very quiet seeing it was right next to the railway. Unfortunately we got a smoking room and it did smell of smoke but it was too late too change. Excellent location just across the road from Osaka shinkansen station.
Nice hotel, across the street from the train station. Use it only for a sigle night stay (change trains or flights), it is a several subway stops from the Osaka downtown. Very clean except carpet, which should be replaced. Polite, knowlegable staff. They understand written english, but hardly speak.
Its location is very convenience. The bed may be a bit hard overall not too bad.
