"Very clean and new room, well presented. Did not have a kettle and even though we asked for one it was never brought up. Breaky was not worth the time. Very slow bringing out food, not enough tables and wasnt that nice anyway. Might stay again but wouldnt rush back." - Anonymous

"Reception not being attended was not a good start. We waited 10 minutes before ringing the Hotels number from a brochure, and the reception person then came through from another room. Two other customers also came in in this time. Being charged an incidental charge of $150 when there is nothing but a bottle of water in the fridge seems excessive, plus it still hasn't been refunded a week later. "We found the Hotel Sophia to be excellent value (we booked early and got a good discount). It was clean, the staff were pleasant and we had a lovely time. It is close to Southern Cross Station and in the CBD (although only just). We will definitely return - especially if we get such a great price again!" - Alessandra Pickup
