Hotel St Moritz, Queenstown - MGallery Collection by Accor Guest Reviews

3.6 out of 5

Nearly all of the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with one of the beds being quite uncomfortable and this took a little time to rectify but was sorted. I do feel the room pricing was a little on the steep side and as we stayed 5 days I feel the bathroom could have had a little 'refresh' performed during that time - apart from just fresh towels. Restaurant evening meals were some of the best we had while in Queenstown, although breakfast was not at quite as good a standard. Thank you.

Excellent place to stay, close to town. Very friendly staff

Spectacular location with great views of the dramatic scenery, but make sure you book a lake view room as the lower floor views are obstructed by buildings. Rooms are good and have outdoor balconies. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful town and lakeside. Service excellent, the staff are friendly and do go the 'extra mile'. The restaurant is one of the best in town, (bearing in mind Queenstown has top restaurants). Will certainly stay there again next visit.

The hotel was great. The hill up to it is not for the faint hearted. Much closer to town than suggested on the map. Staff were good. Got charged for 3 items not used from minibar but this was sorted straight away by staff

Having paid for a '5 star' hotel I was very disappointed to get a bland room on the back of the hotel with a view looking into a retaining wall. Be careful what you book.

Good location, friendly staff, car was brought up from garage within 5 minutes every time. Food tasty although a little on the expensive side when competing with venues in town.

AWESOME location, room and staff great! Only thing wrong was that internet was not free and aimed at a certain clientele this should be something they consider-buying internet cards was annoying and people playing around with the browser privacy was a bit concerning

Nice hotel, good location 5 mins minutes to centre, however uphill on the way back. Rooms ok, air con a bit noisy. Standard 4.5 star. Staff very helpful and friendly.

AVOID THE ROOMS IMMEDIATELY UNDER THE RESTAURANT AND BAR AS THEY CAN BE NOISY DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING, WHICH IS ON THE SLOPE OVERLOOKING THE LAKE. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF.

I found this to be the best hotel I stayed in on my two week trip to New Zealand. Excellent in every category.

The best is its location and the restaurant has fantastic views. The view from our room was a brick wall. The room wasn't that fantastic compared to other places we stayed in except that it had a large screen tv. Other down sides were $10 per day parking and a toaster in the room would have been handy.

Heater didnt work in the hotel room, however the staff provided great service by sending along two portable heaters and an engineer to fix it. Unfortunately the problem still remained the next day with the room heaters not working.

A nice, coveniently situated hotel with great views and nice outdoor hot-tubs. The service from porters and parking valets was variable: sometimes prompt and friendly, sometimes completely absent.

Good location a short walk to town. Nice & clean hotel, charge for parking cars not disclosed beforehand though. We had a view of the driveway, but when you are in Queenstown, the views of your room shouldn't matter as you should be out enjoying every minute of the town! Would stay again
