good location very close to JR Shinjuku station, very nice customer service.
allows for a week touring Tokyo and nearby. Room (double) is small and will have problem accommodating 2 large suitcases. But otherwise it is good for sleeping over and continue with touring during the day.
Very good location & value hotel Must request non-smoking room at reservation though.
My boyfriend and I spent a week in this hotel and although it was small, it was comfortable. I'm small, 5'2 and he's tall, 6'3 and we got along fine with our luggage. Skip the breakfast; it was horrible. The staff was nice and some were very helpful and some not so much. The internet room wifi connection went in and out so don't rely on that. We ended up buying a tiny wireless router and plugged it in the room. Don't forget to put a password on there! Oh, and most importantly, if you don't want the hassle of taking the train to the hotel from the airport, grab a limo bus-they'll drop you off right in front. Easy!
A top quality hotel in a great central location Our twin room was large with every facility we could have wanted. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were changed every day! We made full use of the free internet access and find it hard to believe this is only a 3 star hotel - fantastic value for money.
Located very close to Shinjuku station, which made getting around Tokyo very easy. Staff spoke English very well, and were very helpful with food/shopping suggestions. Best hotel we stayed at during our Japan trip.
Location was perfect, close to Shinjuku station, but still on the quiet south side (with that said, Tokyo is suprisingly quiet all the time). Note that Google Maps did not get the location right, use the map on the hotel site. The staff at the hotel spoke good english, the rooms were ok in size, always clean, but be sure to book a non-smoking room in berforehand if you want one. We did miss wifi in the room, but the lobby provided free wifi so we were ok. Didn't try the breakfast, but there was a lot of coffeeshops around the block for cheap breakfast. The hotel didn't provide concierge service, but at City Hall, about 5 blocks from the hotel, there's a great, free, observatory on the 45th floor. In the basemant of the same building there's a Turist Information Center that helped us with at trip to Mt. Fuji and Hakone.
A good 3-4 star hotel in Shunjuku. It's only about 5 minutes walk from the South exit of Shunjuku Station. Near to all Shunjuku activities. Safe & quieter neighbourhood unlike the other hotels in the Kabuki-cho area. Many food outlets within walking distance. Good base from which to explore Tokyo as Shunjuku is the subway hub to most places in Tokyo. Free wifi in Lobby/Guest Lounge and LAN in room. A bit pricey on the weekends. Room is small like all Tokyo hotels but sufficient for me and my wife. All standard amenities in room (bar fidge, hot water boiler, slippers, toothbrush, soap, shampoo etc). Will definately stay here again if the price is right.
Great hotel. walking dist to major dept store like takashimaya which is jus across the road. However, slight walk of approximately 10mins is needed to travel to the main train stations. Overall... still pleasant!
Excellant place to stay in Tokyo!! No problems at all. But the earthquake was a worry. When we finally got back to the hotel after having to walk for hours there were people everywhere. Not sure if they were from the street or just from the higher floors not wanting to stay in their rooms. The next morning the breakfast was going for a very redruced price - good service!
This hotel is in a terrific location, close to the station and to a vibrant part of Tokyo. Rooms were well-appointed, and service good. Staff were very helpful to us, and spoke good English, which we really appreciated, as this was our first visit to Tokyo. Our experience was so positive, we returned for our last night in Japan and would definitely use this hotel again
Location was great... very close to shinjuku station... Easy access to convenience store and other small eateries Rooms altho a bit small for 2 ppl, but was a nice cosy and clean room
This hotel is in a great location for sightseeing in Tokyo. Laundry facilities are available in the parking lot and you don't even have to buy laundry detergent , it is automatically dispensed into the wash. The economy double room is too small to fit 2 comfortably but the twin rooms are fine spacewise. If you watch the utube video of how to get to the hotel from shinjuku station, that is easily followed and accesible. Great stay and Tokyo is well worth spending more time visiting.
Exceptional Value for Hotel near Shinjukiu area. It is not more than 5 mins walk from Shinjuku South Exit. it is also right next door to the subway station. The location cant be more perfect. The airport limousine bus pick-up is at the hotel entrance. One thing to note though that there is no limousine bus between midnight and 5 am.Taxis are aplenty outside hotel way after midnight. No need for advance booking . Taxi fare to Haneda airport cost over s$100 for a half an hour ride with surcharge. The staff speaks impeccable English and hotel is rather popular with Singaporeans. Food and Shopping and Underground stations are all within a stone's throw tog with McDonalds, KFC and convenience stores.
Please have an open mind when booking "economy" type rooms. These are really small. Anyway, all hotels in Tokyo are similar. Location is excellent though with only 5 mins walk to Shinjuku station. There is also a convenient store just opposite the hotel. Internet connection is excellent.
an excellent hotel righ in the heart of shinjuku and very close to the station staff were very helpful and obliging
The location was awesome..the staff was really helpful ..we are given to a smoking-room when we first check-in..we called the reception and asked to be changed to the non smoking-room...it was all fully booked during the first two nights of our stay..but they offered to change it for us on the 3rd n 4th night..They asked us to pack our luggage n put it in the room..n they will move it for us to the new room..we just need to drop off our keycard in the morning and collect our new keycard in the evening when we got back to the hotel...awesome !
Very convenient to Shinjuku station which means you can just grab the NEX train from Narita airport to Shinjuku and head straight to the hotel. Very clean, standard Tokyo hotel size, nice service, good price, all-round recommended! No fancy things, but not required!
Fantastic place, service was good.
clean, wonderful location. perfect place to rest at night if you are mostly out and about the city.
