Great hotel with clean and modern facilities. Good price for the quality of hotel and a bonus breakfast included, which was great. Nothing is far in Bruges, so very easy walk into main centre of town and right next to the concert hall. It's about a 10 min walk from central train station, or a very quick and cheap cab ride.
Right near everything, but the stand out for us was a really great receptionist who could speak English and helped with everything intuitively. Highly recommended.
very nice hotel ,pleasant staff, good location we had a very enjoyable stay thank you
More or less ok for a night in Brugge. Bad was two single put together, they were moving apart all the time, very uncomfortable and annoying even though was only for 1 person.
Superb hotel, in the middle of city centre. Quiet, good rooms, great services by staff. Highly recommended !!
Very good location including brekfast, service minded and very friendly reception staff, to a very good price
Putje Hotel is in an good quiet position in Brugge, in the main part of town but a long distance from the train station. Take a map. It is opposite the Arts Centre and away from traffic or pedestrian noise. The hotel facilities are a little dated and could do with an upgrade. Tiny lift. Our double room was just adequate in size, very sparely furnished but a good bed. Basic, with no extras. Heating came through the bathroom walls and was far too hot and no controls. We opened the windows to cool down. Breakfast was included and although a buffet, the food choices were limited. Too expensive to eat in the restaurant, but the eating and drinking places in Brugge are like that and so is all of Belgium. The Reception staff is multilingual and very helpful, especially Petra. Brugge is a beautiful town and not to be missed.
The only problem was finding the entrance to the car park. Although it was just accross the road and very reasonably priced...
I would certainly recommend this hotel to fellow travellers. I stayed there recently with my niece and her 4 year old son, and we were given a lovely large room. The room was really clean, and the service and breakfast the following morning were first class. The hotel is close to the railway station, and within easy walking distance to all sights in the city.
Quite reasonable and affordable, delicious breakfast. Comfortable, but not really worth a ***.
I only had an overnight stay. Room quite small but nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. It was in a new separate building, across an alleyway running behind the hotel. My ground floor window opened directly onto the alleyway and had no ventilation setting, it was either open or shut, so I had to sleep with it shut for security reasons. I staying again I would request an upper floor room. Breakfast was standard continental buffet, with cheese, cold meats, boiled eggs as well as cereals, rolls and jams etc. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Position great, ten minutes walk from the Market Square. Drawback, no free parking nearby.
In our seven weeks of recent overseas travel, both my husband and I would rate this hotel as being one of the best for quality standards in general. Hotel staff were excellent, and our questions and requests were always answered with enthusiasm and care. We were delighted with the restaurant which we were able to enjoy on several occasions.
We had a "luxury" room: very smart, beautiful bathroom, opened onto roof terrace. But it was small & the terrace was spoilt by the kitchen smells as it overlooked the ventilation from there, such a pity! Reasonable breakfast.Very convenient location & ideal for a night or two.
The hotel is at walking distance from the centre. The building is very pretty and in local style. Some of the rooms have been renewed, but not mine which needed a facelift. This is a small family run hotel. Breakfast is served in a pretty room on the groundfloor and is quite rich.
Clean but small rooms. Not much choise at the breakfastbuffet.
Rooms not as good as expected. Arrival entrance, restaurant and everyhting else looked lovely but rooms a bit of a let down. Breakfast was poor - we got down about 10.10 and it finished at 10.30 so a lot of it was gone and the hot food was quite cold but I guess that was my fault for not getting up early enough. Service brilliant though and the lady who works on the front desk was increddibly friendly and helpful. I might stay here again but only if I got a cheap deal again.
Perfect, convenient location to the main long term car park. Our room was in the annex and so was not in the main building and was with out lift access to our room. Room was comfortable, though wanted a twin room but got a double instead. Room too hot and bed too bouncy! Food choice great and inclusive breakfast was expansive. To be recommended.
The hotel is excellently located. A few minutes from the station and only 5 minutes walk to the Grote Market. Breakfast had an excellent range but the hot water for tea was not hot. Said it to the staff but our request for hotter water seemed to go unheard. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Shower had no door on it so water went everywhere but I find that is standard in European bathrooms. Would stay here again. Even though our room faced out onto the street the noise was not an issue.
All Staff were very helpful
