Hotel Victoria Seoul

Use Airport express to Seoul station, then use line 4 to Miasamgori, come out at exit 3, go straight, the hotel is just opposite E-mart. Outside the hotel lift have free plain water to refill. Not far if use subway to city area.

An excellent hotel with good location. My friend, my sister and me stayed there for 6 nights. We were given a room with one double bed and one single bed. Is a very spacious room.. And clean too. We stayed at the 8th floor. For the price that we paid for, this is really above our expectation!!! The location is fantastic, with the Emart just opp and the subway is just a few mins walk fr the hotel. Emart is a good place to shop for any things u need, they sell everythings and price is cheaper compared to other big dept store.. We can find lots of local restaurants nearby too. Important: when u take the airport bus u will alight at the busstop which can see a Mc Donald opp. Walk towards the Mc and then walk straight up (against traffic) Is about 5-6mins walk from the Mc to the hotel. Korea is a green country, in spring and autum u need to open the window for fresh air. Will stay at hotel Victoria again.

The Hotel is easy to find and close to facilities, The room size is comfortable. The staff is willing to help though struggling with English. However their English knowledge is far better than the shop assistants in the street. The power adaptor borrowing is a good idea but limited to certain country layouts. No toothpaste is provided so you either come with check-in luggages or purchase it here. The main problem in the hotel is that for high level rooms (10th floor) at "peak" hour, hot water supply is insufficient - water actually stops if tap is turned to fully hot. No comments about the food since I did not try it (seems cheaper outside). Overall, it is reasonable for the price.

The hotel receptionist booked a taxi for me to the airport, but the actual fare was much higher than the receptionist said to me (more than 80,000 Koren wons). The fare was counted by the taxi metric system and included the highway payment. So, it is better to make clearly to the driver and to the hotel receptionist about the confirmed fare to airport. The receptionists had very little English, so it is safer to ask in other places again and again to confirm the information you had and needed for.

Its in Miasamgeori and is very close to the subway and bus station. I would recommend purchasing a tcard any convenience store. Everytime u take the subway it costs about 900 won depending on where u want to go. if u go really far it'll only charge u 100-300 won extra. its cheaper than buying single subway tickets and u can refund the card money Its not too clean in my opinion. DO NOT sit on the bed cover. got bug bites. but they do change the sheets daily. Aircon isnt too strong esp during the afternoon because they probably want u to leave the hotel ;P Its a great location with a Emart Hyundai and Lotte shop just steps away. GREAT location. Its kinda like myeongdong and its on subway line 2 which is a really convenient line. They speak english (rcpt) not great but okay. IMPORTANT: they dont provide toothbrushes so take your own. Also adapters may be borrowed but a deposit of 1000-10000 must be provided (but they do return it so no worries there)

The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is old but ok. The only reason we picked this hotel is that it is close to subway, and the price. Not many restaurants around. If you like shopping, this is not the hotel for you. As you need to take subway to Dongdaemun, Namdaemun market. Overall, the hotel is safe and if My budget is tight, I'll consider this hotel.

Not in the city but very closed to subway which take 20 minutues to city. there are a lots of shopping area and restuarant which close very late....

The hotel is clean and the staffs are nice and friendly. The hotel is a bit far from Seoul city, but it is still OK because it is quite near the Metro station (Miasamgeori station) it takes approx. 30 mins from hotel to Dongdaemum, Myeong-dong, etc. Good services - Internet cable and adaptor can be borrowed at the reception with deposit. Please noted that there are NO toothpaste and toothbrush provided.

staff was most helpful in making sure that I had the internet connection that I needed. They also answered all questions in a very helpful way. Service was very good.

Guys, I am not experienced traveller and can compare Victoria with two other hotels only in Seoul. Its facilities are not outstanding, everything is rather worn out; I can point up clean bedding, flat screen TV with many channels, high speed internet, friendly, very polite and helpful staff and the price of course. If you are a modest person on a budget than Victoria is excellent choice. Last advice: in order to reach the hotel in 2-3 min by walk from the subway (Miasamgeori), use EXIT No.3.

Staff friendly and helpful. As in all of Seoul spoken English is a problem, but they always seem to understand what you want. Rooms we had on two stays were on 10th floor and clean and comfortable. We saw the lower floor rooms and they were fine especially for the price. The problems with the aircons mentioned in other review can be overcome by asking for a room with aircon, This is essential in summer. As mentioned in other reviews, access from airport limo bus 10A is easy, getting off at Miasamgeori metro station. Access to city sights easy by both bus and metro (both about 50m away). We thoroughloy enjoyed the place and will return if we come to Seoul again.

the cooling system was not working and when I complained I got the typical response of "sorry -fix next week". 4 VERY hot nights make for a not so good review but otherwise okay -although staff had limited English.

location was fabulous - 3 mins from the subway , very easy access to the whole of Seoul, Emart supermarket opposite wide range of restaurants, both Korean food and Western fastfood. The rooms were lovely. Although there was no kettle in the rooms, there was a fountain that served both hot and cold drinking water (for free) on each level, so easy to make own drinks. The staff were incredible;always very happy to help, they ordered us a cab and even helped us with our bags into it. Their English was brilliant, especailly fro Korea, and there were no language barriers with anything we asked of them (directions, recommendations, general conversation) There are 2 computers with internet which are free to use in teh lobby, they are nothing too fancy, but more than sufficient for checking emails etc and there is a printer should you wish to print off directions etc. The rooms were cleaned everyday, the linen was clean and fresh, and there was a fridge and in room safe.

I highly recommend this place. It was a good surprise. The place is very accessible as there are bus stations and subway stations nearby the hotel. Shops and restaurants are also within the area.

Hotel Victoria may not be at the center of the city but is very accessible to a lot of places because it is a few minutes walk from the Miasamgeori subway station. Food is not a problem here because there are a lot of restaurants which are not very expensive. There are also street food carts where you can have some snacks or even a light meal with. Accessibility will not be a problem in this hotel. The airport bus stop is just across the Lotte Department Store and there is even an E-Mart across the hotel. As for the hotel, the service was great. The room was clean and cozy. The room facilities were good and easy to operate. Most toiletries were available and they even had a dispenser for soap and shampoo. The staff were very accommodating and were able to answer inquiries. The front desk staff are able to communicate in English as well. The price was well worth it for our stay at this hotel. It was a great deal.

This hotel is situated slightly away from the city but the subway is just a few minutes walk away. Very convenient line 4 brings you directly to many of the major places of interest within 15 - 20 mins. You can also catch the airport bus to and from this place. From Incheon airport go to Stop 3 and take bus to Miasamgeori station. You would have just pass the hotel when you alight. So you need to walk backward for about 5 mins to get to the hotel. Lots of eateries around that place. A particular 24 hr small Korean restaurant just at the exit of Miasamgeori station, on the side of the hotel serves good and cheap food. For that price, everything is good about the hotel, except for the very poor ventilation. There is no way you can control that and the windows can't be opened. Don't stay there during the hot months.

Location is just within 3 minute walk to the nearest subway line 4 Miasamgeori station easily access to the tourist attractions. Surrounding area has lot of eateries and departmental stores. Room was clean and internet is free. The only minus point I encountered was they didn't provide toothbrush and toothpaste and no jar for me to boil water. Staffs were friendly too.

A great choice for those who are on the budget yet still able to enjoy the convenience and easy access to major places in Seoul. One can spend 1,500 won (US$1.50) for a nice, filling sushi right next to a MRT exit or $4000 won (US$6) for a traditional Korean BBQ near by, or better yet, go shopping at E-Mart grocery store right across from the hotel where locals shop daily. This hotel definitely will be my first choice when I visit Korea again. Affordable price for friendly staff and convenience, what a bargain!

Convenient location 3 mins away from the subway. Most of the front desk staff could speak simple english and 1 of them can speak quite fluently.

I really enjoyed this hotel, i am used to flash hotels but this was to be a budget getaway! The room was warm, clean and of good standard! Though no coffee/tea facilities! No iron almost fainted/no where to get laundry done either though after asking 5 different staff one did say yes i can get your shirt ironed! For what i paid here i would stay again, just a short walk to the nearest sub-way to all the lines you may want to travel! On the direct coach line back to icheon airport! Acrtoss the road and close to major shopping areas and about 30 mins from iteawon.....the koreans are so friendly you wont be lost as they will guide you! Wonderful time
