On February 2nd Vila Galé Cascais opened its doors after its complete remodelling. It invested in a modern and sophisticated look, with updated and modern infrastructure to align its structure with today’s requirements. Getting there:Coming from the A5 motorway: After last exit (Cascais) carry straight on and turn right at the third roundabout to Avenida Infante D. Henrique. At the end of this road follow the signposts to “Boca do Inferno”. Drive down Avenida Rei Humberto de Itália and take the 4th turning to your left to Frei Nicolau de Oliveira Street, where the hotel is located.

The hotel was really fine. One big minus is that the hotel is located close to the restaurant some have permitted to play loud music on Friday and Saturday evenings until midnight, and if the room happens to be the restaurant side interferes with the music so strongly, that at night unable to sleep. We did not get a discount room rate, even though I asked it. I understand that there is no fault of the hotel, but it would be reasonable to inform in advance the kind of an issue and take into account the price.

Great location to explore not only Cascais but also Lisbon
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here -our room was large & lovely - the view fantastic. Helpful staff . Our family have stayed here 1 year before us & also enjoyed their time through timeshare. We went on to stay at Gale in Sth Portugal - not as luxurious but housekeeping better. Would definately stay at Cascais again as so close to great sighseeing.

I was extremely happy with my stay in Vila Gale Village Cascais Hotel and would certainly recommend it to my friends for its friendliness and service.
Great place for families or large groups with good facilities for self-catering. Hotel is on the edge of Cascais which suited my husband and I very well but could be too quiet for some people! We decided not to pay extra for a sea view which was a mistake since we overlooked the car park and the sun never got around to our side of the building! Breakfast good and staff pleasant and helpful.

Great hotel, really friendly staff and good facilities. Reasonably priced except for the phone calls, my advice is not to use the phone.
Very good is not enough to reflect the location of this hotel. Only 50 metres from the ocean, 5 minutes walk from a beautiful village with all cons, next to million $$$ properties. Rooms as large as houses. What a bargain.
We are a Swiss family with 5 kids (ages 10 - 26)having visited Lisbon and surroundings during Easter. The Hotel is a perfect place with a beautiful large garden, swimming pool, sea view (200m). Being close to Lisbon (25mins drive by car), Vila Gale is ideally situated to visit the great beaches of Guincho (15 mins), Costa Azur (40 mins), City of Sintra, etc. Hotel rating: 5 points

The hotel is great, my bedroom was a bit noisy, you can hear noises from other rooms, but it's not a big issue. The location is great and the people working there are nice. Breakfast is great, I thought it was going to be much worse. I recommend the hotel. Enjoy!
Both myself and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Vila Gale Village Cascais. We found the facilities excellent and the staff to be professional, courteous, very helpful and unobtrusively efficient at all times. We enjoyed several meals in your excellent restaurant and please partularly thank the staff there. Please pass on our comments and appreciation to the management and all the staff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and any problems were immediately dealt with. Facilities were good and I especially enjoyed the aquarobics three times a week - an excellent idea! We would definitely pay a return visit. One small suggestion - a shop within the hotel would be a good idea, selling newspapers, books etc.
Great room, some with sea views. A short walk to the town centre (10 mintues). Would stay again!
