Hotel Wellenberg Zurich

Extremely pleasant stay at this hotel. Staff is friends. There are coffee/tea and kettle in the room (not many hotels in Switzerland provide that, even there are 4 stars hotels). Fruits are delivered to my room everyday, which was really nice. Great location, located at the Old Town which I don't think I can find a better location than this.

Hotel is in a very central location within easy walking distance of all the central district and attractions. Was a little noisy at 3am with the cliubs closing down but the closing the double glazed windows solved the problem. Staff were friendly and the continental breakfasts were very adequate. Cooked breakfasts could be ordered for a small additional charge. The check out time of 12 noon is very sensible

The Wellenberg was very well located; just next to the old town and 5 minutes walk to Lake Lucerne.

Old hotel that is well renovated, although the elevators are very small and there is no lounge. The room was spacious. the badroom is mall but clean. Located in the pedestrian area in the heart of the old city. The personnel is friendly. There is a nice bar on the first floor.

The best hotel we stayed in. Outstanding location in central pedestrian zone located in Old Town. Lovely front desk staff who could not do enough for us. Enormous room with all facilities. Modern and clean with chocolates on our pillows! Excellent buffet breakfast and lovely waiting staff who remembered our daughters name the following day. No private parking - closest public parking CHF40.00 for 24 hours. Would definitely recommend as a true 4 star hotel, and would stay nowhere else in Zurich ever again.

The room we stayed in was quite large and pleasantly furnished. A nice touch was a welcome basket of fresh fruit and chocolates in the room when we arrived, and in the reception area chocolates and iced drinks were always available. The staff were all friendly and the choice of food available for breakfast was excellent. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

This is a lovely hotel in the middle of the old town surrounded by restaurants and bars and close to the river and main shopping area.It has a lovely breakfast area in the garden.Service was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel located in the centre of the old city and in a great location, close to the railway station and shopping areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bat and restaurant were very food with the exception of the smoking.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had avery nice large bedroom over looking the street but with the windows closed we heard no noise at all. the staff were very friendly and the welcome basket of fruit was a great idea.

The reception desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent hotel.

Excellent friendly service and good advice provided about shopping, where to find things, transport, and dealing with our own little quirks - like wanting a teapot in the room with kettle, teabags and milk in the fridge (all gratis).
