"Good location for northern edge of Melbourne city. Refurbishment is good though bathroom lights disturb partner during the night. Disappointing that tea and coffee provided is only available in large packs - none "free" and what is there would serve 10- 12 - you have to buy the lot." - Anonymous
"We stayed at Rydges Hotel Bell City Melbourne for 5 nights over the Xmas break and were very impressed with the facilities. Our room was ultra- modern and very clean.The Chill Restaurant and Bar was open till all hours and served wonderful food. "the hotel was divided into two sections. ( the hotel and the budget rooms ) it smelled like Indian curry in the lift and the hall way. The shower in the room was very small and the water was leaking out of it ( nearlly drop dead on the wet floor ). And finally. the window blinds didn't cover the windows very well, it gets very bright early in the morning. Didn't have a good stay. " - Anonymous

From the airport exit onto the Tullamarine Freeway from the airport heading towards the city. Take the Bell Street exit on the Tullamarine Freeway and drive approximately 15 minutes along Bell St. Rydges Bell City is located on the corner of Hotham Street and Bell Street on the right hand side of the road.
A shuttle service from the airport can also be arrange and costs $19 per person one way, a taxi journey will cost approximately $30 - $35 one way from the airport. |
