"The room was a bit noisy ( a lot of traffic from the street)." - Anonymous
"Seven of us stayed at the Hotel de France Quartier Latin Paris in December 2006 and found it is conveniently located between two Metro stations, which proved very good for sightseeing during our 4 night stay in Paris during December.
The Hotel is small with friendly, helpful staff and although the rooms are compact they have adequate facilities and are serviced every day. There is also a small lift, if stairs are a problem. It was clean and warm with a nice continental breakfast, inclusive if you stay for more than two nights.
The Hotel de France is situated near a market in the Quartier Latin and is an ideal location with nice reasonably priced bars/restaurants and interesting shops and boutiques nearby, where we purchased a few bargains.
Pefectly good for a short stay in Paris, we would definitely go back. " - Anonymous
"Very high price for very low standard hotel. Small, dark rooms, very low quality furniture. I know much better hotels in Paris for half price. " - Andrzej Homa
"A very nice hotel in the Latin Quarter. About a 5-10 minute walk to a lot of great brasseries and bars, close to St. Germain Street. " - Warren Malmberg
