No internet for entire stay despite complaining 3 times. Finally tracked it down (myself) to the 2 ground floor routers not working but no-one was able to restart them. Staff tried to make me think my computer was broken (despite it working on the routers upstairs). I have a Computer Science degree so am immune to this sort of fobbing off. The boiler seemed to contain a fairly small amount of water and the 'emergency' reheat only worked sometimes. The watered down fairy liquid & sponge that had been cut in half were annoying. The iron was broken on arrival but struggled to get another as staff seemed to think that irons are supposed to leak. Car parking was around the back of building and the route was like an ice rink on arrival. No attempt had been made to clear or grit around the entrance to the building. Some staff were very rude including one who started answering a question and then answered a phone leaving me standing for a couple of minutes before I walked away.
Very close to Tesco for shopping. I went away for a few days and was able to leave my large suitcase at reception. Very friendly staff. About 20 min walk to city centre.
I was very impressed! Lovely wee apartment, very comfortable, safe and clean. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant. The bus was easy, there is a tesco next door. You're 20min walk or couple of min bus ride from centre of town. Would definately stay here again :-))
The apartment is 20 - 25 min walk to Princes Street. There is bus stop just outside. Supermarket 2min walk around the corner. Reception staff pleasant. I left my large bag at reception when I travelled to Aberdeen for 4 days.
receptionist had a very offhand manner that annoyed us on arrival but generally place was good vaue..
Good place o stay in Edinburgh, but it could be so much better. It is rated as 4 stars...well, at best I would give it 3 stars (at present). Location: some 10-15 min walk to the city centre-good. It is located on a busy street, so ask for an apartment towards the court, it is more quiet. The apartments are of a good size but the matters on the bed was quite uncomfortable and the pillows felt like sacks of potatoes.... otherwise...all good. Would I stay here again?... probably, Yes
Big apartment. Close to Tesco supermarket, good pubs and restaurants
not a bad location, near bus routes, but you'll need a cab at the end of the night. Staff friendly. Good parking, and easy to find. Good prices through website. Will use it again when in Edinburgh again.
Great location - close to buses and a supermarket. Staff were very helpful and courteous.
We found this accommodation ideal for those not wanting the services of a hotel, being comfortable and well equipped, in a good location for access to the highlights of Edinburgh plus many local restaurants and looked after by staff who were exceedingly helpful. It provided exceptional value in a quiet season and we would certainly use it again.
