Howard Johnson Inn Colorado Springs

Everything was what we needed for the weekend but the breakfast could of been better.

Hotel was conveniently located at the north end of Colorado Springs. The location, amenities and room comfort were average. However, the room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Additionally, for the price they charge it is the one of the best values in Colorado Springs. Based on the above, I give this hotel 4 stars!

The staff met my every request and were able to provide information about tourist attractions.

i guess im goin to stay 5 more days its very nice and calm and the staff treat u like family is hard to leave u get a good service and i love my waffles in the morning lol come guys u will love it here.

This hotel was awesome!!! For the price u pay it doesn't get any better. It was super clean and very friendly. Even the smoking rooms were clean.

This room was one of the most inexpensive available in Colorado Springs, but surprisingly, it was very clean with up-to-date amenities. Easy access to I-25.

Everything was great! The room was big and clean. I only wish that there would have been a microwave available in our room. I like the idea that they provided a safe.

I had to go to Colorado Springs for a family emergency and I was pleased with the accommodations. I had a suite for 5 days and it felt good to retire in the evening at a comfortable location. Everything that I needed was just around the corner from the hotel. At the hotel everyone was very helpful even with my computer. The only thing I would have like better was "stronger coffee". Quitter air condition.

Years ago, this hotel used to be part of the Red Roof Inn chain. It's slightly rundown, but still a good deal for the money. I previously lived in Colorado Springs and used to work near this area, so I knew what to expect. Contrary to some reviewers, I had no problems with the staff. Be advised that a microwave is available only for an additional fee.

This is an average motel stay compared to most. There is not any special, so if you are needing to stay for price, then stay here. However, make sure to ask for a for a room on the West side of the motel so you have a view of the mountains. It will make your stay more enjoyable:)

Excellent value. Only downside was the smell of residual cigarette smoke in a non-smoking room.

The hotel was clean although it was a little older. I just slept there so it suited me fine.

This was an overnight stay to avoid the long drive from Louisville. The room was clean, the bed comfortable.

Had two rooms. One had upgraded air-contitioning/heater unit, other did not. Ran older unit set to use outside vent to mitigate mustiness. Beds were good, room & bathroom were clean, staff was friendly & helpful, breakfast was good enough with reasonable selection. Wireless internet was great as long as you don't need some forms of VPN. Several good restaurant choices relatively close to the north and south. Great value for moderate accommodations.
