"In all aspects we found to be an excellent 4* hotel. and would recommend it.
The rooms were well equipped & spotlessly clean.
The food was good with a large choice.
The staff were helpful & polite.
Sited on the sea front with a sandy beach, it was in an ideal situation. One word of warning though, parents with young children ought to be aware that the sea deepens within a few yards of the shore line & supervision is essential.
A bus which commutes between the hotels of the H Top group where the AI card was also accepted we found was a great asset.

Guests can sunbathe on the terrace and admire the sea views from the rooftop swimming pool, and the hotel also has a sauna, spa tub, gym and a separate pool for children. The mini club runs six days a week for kids aged 4 to 12 years. A varied evening programme entertains guests of all ages with live music, cabaret shows and flamenco dancing. There is a free shuttle bus connecting the hotels in the group where guests can enjoy free use of all facilities. The bus runs three times a day between the properties along the coast from Calella to Lloret de Mar. As well as the fitness facilities on site, guests have free use of the health club at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar. All-Inclusive plan - The All-Inclusive rate includes the following: room accommodations, breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant; all local alcoholic beers, wines and spirits and soft drinks, tea and coffee from 10 AM until midnight; snacks including burgers and salads until midnight, and ice cream for children from 8 AM until 6 PM; evening shows and daytime activities; kids' mini-club (4 -12 years); dinner at the Medieval Castle and a flamenco show at the Gran Palace (mandatory bus fare applies to both excursions; free shuttle bus from the hotel to all the other hotels in the group and all sporting and dining facilities at these hotels. Premium alcohol, phone and Internet usage, airport transfers and medical services not included. |

Girona Airport (GRO): Approximate driving time is 35 minutes and distance is 35 kilometres (21 miles). From Girona, taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and the fare is approximately €60. There are also buses to the resort; this will take around 90 minutes and costs €5. Driving directions from Girona Airport: Take the main road N-II in the direction of Barcelona and then towards Pineda de Mar.
Barcelona Airport (BCN): Approximate driving time 55 minutes and distance is 79 kilometres (49 miles).From Barcelona Airport a taxi will cost approximately €75. Direct trains run from the airport to Pineda de Mar train station; journey time is 100 minutes and fare is approximately €4. Driving directions from Barcelona Airport: Take the AP- 7 highway in the direction of Girona up to Granollers then the freeway to Mataro. Take the C-32 highway in the direction of Calella. Exit the highway and take the main road N-II towards Pineda de Mar. |
