Getting there:We are located off SH 1, just a few minutes north of the township along Huka Falls Road. Three hours drive from Auckland and four hours from Wellington on State Highway 1. Huka Falls Resort is two minutes drive from the Taupo Town Centre and ten minutes drive from Taupo Airport. From Auckland - There are two entrances to Huka Falls road, take the second entrance, closest to Taupo, on your left as you come into the 80km zone. From Wellington - Follow SH 1 straight through the Taupo township. Huka Falls Resort is at the top of the hill, follow the signs for "Huka Falls and Scenic Lookout" onto Huka Falls road. We are signposted from there. If you have any problems, please feel free to phone us on 0800 485 284.
Check-in Procedure:Reception is open from 7am until 9pm Sun to Wed and 7am to 10pm Thurs to Sat in the summer, 7am to 8pm Sun-Thurs and 7am to 9pm Fri & Sat in the winter. If you will arrive after hours, please phone reception on 0800 485 284 for instructions on how to collect your key and check in.
Car parking:Each villa/suite has its own covered car port and Studios have a park outside the room. We also have ample off-street parking (for trailers, boats etc) at no additional cost.
Child Policy:Baby cots are available at no extra charge. If you require one, please mention when booking. (Subject to availability)
Great place to stay. The accommodation was basic but it was good at the price that I paid at that time. The restaurant provided great food and great service. Would definitely be staying again.
Quite, clean and family friendly resort. Rooms are very nice like a luxury cabin, grounds are lovely and in a nice setting. Room has tea, coffee, fridge / Internet is fast. Resort is only a few minutes drive from town and the great lake.
Open plan all in one unit with tea and coffee facilities, and en-suite (shower only). Bed can be set as double or twin. These rooms sleep a maximum of two. Can Interconnect with Suite to make an Interconnecting Two Bedroom Villa.

The layout and location of the hotel are good, the room facilities are basic but the restaurant is excellent.

Good clean accomadition a little way out of town would recomend own transport good place to stay many interesting places to visit around hotel.

An extremely good value for money place to stay. However restaurant service was found wanting as only 1 waitress was serving both bar and tables. She did a good job considering but management should look at this. Food was great and we would definitely stay again
A great value choice that suited our budget. Chalets look great from the outside, but a bit tired and dated inside. Would definately return!
Please do something about the shower curtains, they come inward whilst showering halving the space and stick to your legs (and yes I shut all windows and doors etc). Apart from that fantastic place thankyou
In-house restaurant food was excellent!
Good for an overnight stop, unit was quite small with only rrom for one bed and a seat. Also expensive for out of season.

Very nice rooms, reasonably priced, and close to Taupo. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing quiet place to stay.
