"Refusal by the chef to cook poached eggs for breakfast on the first morning. Big fuss created by their kitchen. Decided not to eat in the restuarant from then on.
Advertised a children's playground. Only play equipment was an small old ricketty bridge.
Living rooms were poorly furnished. Bathroom and bedrooms were well appointed. Broken toilet roll holder. No plugs in kitchen. Couldn't drink the tap water.
Daily service cleaning was pretty substandard.

"The Hunter Resort is well located with easy access to the Hunter Valley winerise.
The cellar door Blue Tongue brewery and San Martino resteraunt made it easy to entertain yourself without having to get back in the car and drive anywhere once you had settled in your room.
The San Martino restaraunt was excellent with well prepared and presented fare.
Service at resort and restaraunt was very good.
