Husa Hotel Barcelona

Friendly staff, great location forget the rest! Flight of stairs to enter, hard to reach reception with luggage, tiny elevator with cracks in floor. Hard bed, no A/C, strange noises from hotel plumbing all night long, in desperate need of a major remodeling. Having stayed at several HUSA hotels in Spain, this is definitely the one I will not come back to!

Location was the best for center of town. Right next to the heart of the city. 1 and 1/2 blocks to the metro, airport bus, tours, restaurants and stores. Staff very helpful to me a single older woman traveling alone. Asked for a double bed for a single and got it for no additional cost. Room very good sized. Room was in the front of the hotel and not very noisy at all. Beds on the harder side but sleep-able.

I found that the HUSA was in a brilliant location and one can browse the shops and walk back and relax

I specially liked the laminate floor - this was good as in my family there are allergy.

This is a great hotel with a good balance between price and quality. It is based in the centre of the city and everything you need is within walking distance. The airbus from Barcelona airport stops on Placa de Catalunya, just one block from this hotel. What more do you need.

Lots of areas seem to claim to be in the heart of the city. Having stayed in Barcelona for 5 days I'd say the Hotel is just as close as we could have gotten. Just steps away from Placa de Catalunya which is the starting point for many tourist sites. Good service and nice rooms. Staff spoke English and was able to help us get the most out of our first trip to the city. I'll stay again the next time I return.

This was our 3rd stay in Barcelona, awaiting a cruise and in future we will always pick this hotel. It was spotless, the rooms were very comfortable and the staff were so very friendly and helpful. All in all this was one of the very best hotels were have every stayed in.

If you decide to go to Barcelona, I would recommend this hotel. The hotel is near the Placa the Catalunya, so it is in the heart of the city within walking distance to the famous Ramblas. The rooms are large and modern. The access from and to the airport is very good by public transport (single ticket about euro 4) or taxi(about euro 25).

People in hotel particularly in reception are very helpful and kind. They definitely make a difference. They are well informed about not only the hotel services but about Barcelona, providing valuable information for the visitor. Don Fernando, was a key resource for us in all aspects of our visit to your hotel. Its is a valuable asset for the company and for the visitors of your hotel chain.

Fantastic room, with a great view over Placa de Catalunya. Well worth a visit.

Very quiet although it is located at the center.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was not exactly what we expected from a 4 Star Hotel and it was very noisy however the location and friendly staff compensated for this small problem.
