Why oh why charge for internet!

Nice place for stay. Nice staff. Good restaurant. A nice pool. Close to the beach. Very nice city. If u need internet on your stay, be carefull, there is no wireless internet in the rooms, as u might belive. And the connection from the bar area is unstable and u have to pay to use it.

Rather small rooms, especially the bathroom. A/C was basic and ineffective. Position of toilet was a challenge.

Right on the shores of the ocean with spetacular views of the roman ruins and amphitheatre as well as the ocean. Best place for price to stay in this City.

If you plan to stay in this hotel you should do so for it's location only. Fantastic view, close to the old City and the Rambla. BUT, the reception personnel in the hotel is extremly unhelpful. Do not disturb the personnel with questions about the room, internet, where the breakfast is served or whatever becuase they will get very irritated. You as a hotel guest are just a disturbing object.

The main feature of this hotel is the location. No question about it. Many important historical sites within walking distance. The shopping district is also two-three blockas away. The rooms are not as nice as we were expecting and we had minor problems with the facilities (shower-head busted - repaired with tape I got from the front desk). Friendly staff and very helpfull. I will have no problems staying at the Husa again.

I would´t give 4 stars for that hotel. The hotel was modern in 1980-s, not anymore.

Well located impressive looking hotel, room and facilities clean and well maitained. All staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant meals and breakfasts are excellent. We will certainly stay again if in the area.

Very nice hotel in excellent location Pool needed cleaning

The decor in this hotel is best described as shabby and in urgent need of renovation. The breakfast so-called 'grand buffet' is a waste of money and would be much better spent at one of the many nice cafes in the city; further, the temperature in the dining room is kin to a chiller. The staff speak only limited English though help as best then can. There is no internet access unless you carry a laptop with you (for which you must buy WiFi time). The location is excellent though and this makes it worthy of consideration.

Excellent sea front & old town location. Push for a sea facing room. front desk staff were very helpful to achieve this. Value for money was excellent. Slightly dated but main reception and restaurant were in good order. A few minor defects in the room, but at this price its easy forgotten. About 500m from station (for Barcelona) and 10 miles / 25 Euro taxi ride from Reus airport.

Very pleasant stay at hotel. Staff very helpful. The lobby of the hotel is up to the 4 star standard one would expect but the bedrooms are not - they are clean and adequate but very tired looking. My bedroom chair was broken and the cover over the air shaft in the bathroom kept flying off. Breakfast was excellent. We were in a room at the front and the fabulous view from the balcony more than compensated for other failings. The rear bedrooms did not have the same attractions. Overall it was good value.

The hotel is excellently positioned especially for anyone interested in historical Tarragona. Ask for a sea view room.

Located 10 min walk from the beach and a couple of minutes walk from the main street, this is a really good choice if you wanna have a few days on the beach, relaxing and maybe doing some shopping. The rooms are spacious and with a view of the beach and ocean (unless you're unlucky and put in a room on the back side...).

Hotel is on a hill top & access from the beach, Port & Railway station is by very steep steps. Otherwise excellent location for the old town & the Ramblas.

You're only as good as your employees...and the staff at Husa Imperial Tarraco Hotel in Tarragona made me feel welcome and safe. I stayed there 7 - 12 November...and as luck would have it, I had an opportunity to return to Tarragona almost immediately. I opted to stay, once again, at the Husa Imperial...I returned 28 November and stayed 5 days. It felt like I was going HOME!
