Husa Paseo del Arte Hotel Madrid

the hotel was clean and very close to Atocha train station (10 min walk). As a result, it was a perfect base from which to daytrip to Toledo, etc, and get back to Madrid with time in the evening to visit the Prado, Reina Sofia, and Parque Retiro (all of which are an easy walk from atocha or the hotel). It was about a 20 min walk to Puerta del Sol or Plaza Mayor, but Metro is easy and right by Atocha station if you prefer to ride! The room was spacious and well designed, and the price was very reasonable. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a busy street, and we felt perfectly safe in the area. It is also a perfect spot for getting to/from the airport as the yellow bus runs every 20 mins from Atocha station to the airport (2 euro, 30 - 40 min ride)

I have stayed here before, and plan to return on future trips to Madrid. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located for Atocha train station, museums and a short walk to Plaza Santa Ana bar area. Staff are friendly (considering that they are madrileños) and breezed me through both check in and check out processes.

Fantastic location - minutes to parks and The Prado, a metro and railway stations. My only complaint was lack of internet availability - 6 euro per hourto go on-line in the lobby in the lobby. Personnel were helpfu, and I liked the "wooden" floors in the room as opposed to wall to wall.l. We would go back there.

Location very handy when travelling to/from Atocha Railway station or you plan visit to Prado or Reina Sophia (to see Guernica) (free entries on evenings !!). Hotel provides what one could expect from well established hotel network ! Reasonably quiet given its location.

Hotel had big delays checking in with Hotel Club voucher as had no record of the booking but the hotel itself is well located and clean.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in (and I've stayed in many !). The room was luxurious and the breakfast out of this world. Good location and easy to get around the city from this hotel. If I ever went to Madrid again, I would stay here.

Excellent hotel, great facilities and service felt entirely safe here, would highly recommend to all and would definitely go back. All Staff were very helpful at all times; the breakfast was magnificent and the hotel room spacious and modern. Close to restaurants; a 10min walk to the Prada museum, close to metro (for the keen train travellers), close to the open tour bus to get around the city. Best hotel we stayed in for our entire trip around Europe.

I was very impressed by the staff and facilities at Husa Paseo del arte. One thing I did find was that Taxi's have no idea where it is and if you go find out where the cross street is so that you can tell them where to go. Also it has a good bar to grab a beer before we would head out for the night.

Very nice hotel, good location to Metro, Museeums and tourist bus-route. Good value for money. Can recommend this hotel.

this is a good place to stay although i think its a bit pricey, i would stay again but be sure to pre book as my friend did a walk in and got stung!

By far the best hotel I ever booked through [your website]. Beautifully decorated rooms, great breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff friendly and helpful and only a 15 minute walk from City centre. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning on going to Madrid. Great value all round.

Excellent value for money. A lovely modern hotel.

Was very happy with hotel overall. Would definately stay there again although the hotel states it provides ironing facilities on request. When asked for iron on several occasions throughout the day were told none was available, however you could send your garments down to laundry and they would iron them for a price...which wasn't cheap. When we agreed to pay they sent a maid up straight away who managed to magic us an iron/ironing board from somewhere. This is obviously a ploy to extort extra money from people and the maids are having none of it. 10 out of 10 for the maids.

Nice Hotel. Great location withing walking distance to the Atocha Train Station, Prado and other Museums, and a short walk to either the Atocha or Anton Martin Metro. Breakfast Buffet had a wide range of selections from hot breakfast, pastires, cereal, pastries, etc. We plan on staying at this hotel again.
