Very nice hotel, great location close to embassies. Terrific room and lovely surrounds.
A lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpfull.
Absolutely stunning hotel - highly recommended
excellent amenities and as always a wonderful stay.
Fantastic room size, clean and comfortable rooms, great service from the staff. Did not use facilites.
Good standard as always
This is close to the airport, national gallery and city. Service was excellent and room spacious and clean. I'd recommend this hotel as a place to stay when in Canberra. Buffet meal in the cafe was good value
a very pleasant atmosphere
We love the Hyatt and always stay there when in Canberra. But be warned, service in the tearooms can be quite slow on the weekend when they are doing tea service, particularly if you don't want the afternoon tea service, but just want to order off the snack menu. Tip to get a quick drink is to just go to the bar in speaker's corner rather than wait for table service in the tearooms. We were also kept waiting this time for our rooms, but the staff were very nice about it and gave us some free drink vouchers and a small apology gift for being understanding. We still love you and will go back.
Very comfortable hotel. Very central for tourist attractions and lovely grounds down to the lake. Food a little ordinary but service good. Bell-boys knickerbockers a little anachronistic.
Great ambience. wonderful and gracious. service EXcellent location can walk to Parliament House . National Gallery Very good gym and pool
The facilities at this hotel were first rate and there was free parking which was very convenient. The hotel is wide and not high. This results in very fast lift access but also a lot of walking on each floor. It would not be suitable for a person who had difficulty in walking.
We have stayed a number of times over the years. We have just returned from Asia and my husband and I agreed they are well ahead with service and food.We found the breakfast very average with choices and the haste of delivery of food very slow.Seemed to be a lot of inexperienced people when we ordered a drink mid afternoon. We had to keep asking would it be much longer! It had been forgotten.I think it is time for an overhall In a lot of areas. For such a lovely place its a shame. We felt we may try somewhere different next time.
A very pleasant stay. The facilities and location are the reasons I like this hotel.
Beautiful Heritage Hotel close to Old and New Parliament House as well as various Museums. We were allocated a lovely room with lake view - stayed one night and will most certainly be back. Canapes in the evening and breakfast buffet in the Executive Lounge were great!
Overpriced for facilities offered. Rooms need updating. Conference catering poor
Loved it, but they should do more meal deals, didn't realise they had a dinner buffett - why not offer a breakfast, afternoon tea, or dinner deal (or one of the 3 type option)
One of my favorite hotels. Would stay there anytime.
