"Loved the views. We've stayed a few times at the Langham Hotel in Symonds St and although the rooms are more luxurious the view is usually over a carpark, rooftop or into someone else's apartment. Would be very happy to stay at the Hyatt again!" - Anonymous

Hyatt Regency Auckland has been a landmark in Auckland since 1968. Located in the historical belt of Auckland, we offer unsurpassed views of Auckland Harbour, the city, and Parklands of Auckland.
The hotel offers 269 beautifully appointed European style guest rooms and suites in the 14 storey Regency Tower. These rooms are complimented by 100 deluxe rooms, one and two bedroom apartment style suites and penthouses in the 17 storey Residence Tower. The Residence rooms and suites each have balconies and feature panoramic views of the city or harbour. Regency and Residence Tower guests with Regency Club access are able to enjoy the "hotel within a hotel" receiving access to the Regency Club lounge for continental breakfast and evening canaps and drinks.
Spa at the Hyatt offers a fully equipped gym, a 25m heated swimming pool, spa pool, sauna, steam room, sun terrace and juice bar, Spa at the Hyatt is an ideal location for those with fitness and relaxation in mind. Hyatt Regency Auckland also has diverse meeting facilities including a magnificent ballroom, eight function rooms and boardrooms. Facilities provide the ability to host up to 650* guests at a banquet dinner in the Princes Ballroom and an additional 550 guests in the hotel's Regatta Room. |

Railway station: 1.6 kilometres - three minutes by car.
Driving Directions
From Auckland International / Domestic Airport: Turn left out of George Boult Drive. Follow signs along State Highway 20 North. Take the Pah Road turn-off, through the Broadway Shopping Centre. Turn left at Khyber Pass. At the top of Khyber Pass turn right onto Symonds Street. Go along Symonds Street past the university. Turn left onto Waterloo Quadrant. Hotel is approximately 200 metres on the right.
From Auckland Railway Station: Turn right from station onto Beach Road. Turn left at Anzac Avenue. Turn right onto Waterloo Quadrant. Hotel is approximately 200 metres. |
