The Hyde Park Inn is a centrally located hotel offering quality family and corporate accommodation. Each of the 92 spacious rooms has views of Hyde Park. The hotel is located in the heart of Sydney within walking distance to all major attractions. All rooms contain a kitchenette (including microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge, cutlery & crokery) which allows an element of self-catering. The Hyde Park Inn is also pleased to include complimentary car parking (this must be requested in comments section if required)complimentary light continental breakfast provided to rooms daily, newspapers and in house movies in all our rates. The Hotel has a strict NO PARTY policy, and all visitors must leave the hotel by 9.00 pm. HYDE PARK INN REFURBISHMENT PROGRAMME 2011/2012 Dear Guests, From the 31st of January 2011 we will commence a programme of works which will provide significant improvements These Four Projects are 1. Bathroom Refurbishment 2. New Hot Water Supply 3. Sound Proofing to all Deluxe Rooms 4. Installation of Optic Fibre to provide better internet and entertainment to all rooms The majority of the works will not involve loud construction works but some noise will occur only on some days. This noise will be limited to specific times during the day to minimise guest disruption. Getting there:Located on Elizabeth Street between the cross-streets of Bathurst & Liverpool. Approx 12 kms north of the Sydney Domestic & International airports. Shuttle buses are available from the arrivals area and cost approx $10 per person. The train service will cost approx $12 per person - please alight at Museum Station opposite the Hyde Park Inn. Taxis are also readily available from the airport.
Check-in Procedure:Photo ID is required on check in. $50 security deposit is required on arrival - this can be paid in cash or credit (refundable upon check-out). Car parking must be requested in comments section if required. complimentary parking may be located offsite if hotel car park full
Car parking:The Hyde Park Inn provides complimentary parking for hotel guests (one car space per booking).Car parking MUST be pre-booked in remarks section! Height restrictions of 1.9m During busy periods we may need to re-direct you to our offsite parking location.Approx-4 minute walk from the hotel. A complimentary pre-paid voucher (valid for unlimited entries & exits) will be supplied if this arrangement is necessary.

Very comfortable roomy although there were no towels or tea or coffee etc in room when we arrived, Staff were quick to rectify the situation would stay again
Nice clean room with modern facilities. A view of Hyde Park. Free parking was not in the hotel,but acouple of blocks away. I wasn't aware of that until the booking was made,However it didn't present a problem.

The room was large for an inner city hotel, and was within easy walking distance of most attractions. We like to sleep with the airconditioning turned off and the window open, this could be done at the Hyde Park Inn, however, there was noise from the road outside when the window was open. We would return to this hotel again.
Asked for a pair of scissors from reception and didn't get them till 2.5 hours later. Overall am happy with the service, relatively cheap and good for a 2 night stay at Sydney.

Superior studio apartment was great. We had a view over Hyde Park direct at the Anzac Memorial. Breakfast provided was adequate for us. The location is very central to most things especially with the FREE bus practically stopping at the front door.
Great view overlooking Hyde Park. Hotel room was well equipped and the kitchenette was terrific and the beds very comfortable. The hotel room was quiet and there was very little road noise. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is close to major city shopping and the Museum train station. I would definitely stay here again
Excellent central location, very good service and good rooms with all necessary facilities.
The hotel was wonderful. It was in a brilliant location and the views of the park gave us some trees to look at so we weren't overwhelmed by the city. The small kitchen was outstanding and the bathroom seemed to be recently refurbished. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Very central location close to all public transport. There was always someone at the desk and they were all very helpful. We had a great stay!

Allowed use of rest room and baggage storage, and got room prepared for early checkin (10.30), due to early morning arrival time. Very helpful.
We stayed in a standard room which was large and spacious. Although facing a main city street the double glazing made the room very quiet. The room facilities were very good and included all one needed for the included continental breakfast served to the room the nighjt before. Hotel parking is limited and the free parking provided at a nearby commercial car park was not a drawback. It was easy to park outside the hotel to check in and then move the car. In all a competitively priced hotel for a short or more extended stay.
Hyde Park Inn was very accommodating in all aspects of our stay. Even their car parking facilities was good. The staff looked after our property being the car. Very secure.

i wouid definately stay at this hotel again, hotel has it's own parking. hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. close to all city attractions and shopping. public transport virtually at front door,beautifull views across hyde park.
Friendly and helpful check in. Discounted rate of A$176 (for 'Deluxe Studio')was reasonable for the good sized room and central location. A prime reason for choosing it for us was the 2 minute walk to the Museum station, which is an easy 15 minute train ride to the international airport. (Warning - no obvious lift to platforms and quite a few stairs) We liked: Good sized room; comfortable bed; small kitchenette with jug, toaster and microwave; pleasant outlook over Hyde Park; friendly check in; proximity to station. Downsides: Fairly noisy air conditioning (but easy to switch off;) constant air extraction in bathroom (not sure if this was a fault); slightly dated (though clean) bathroom, with little space to store toilet bags etc; no double glazing, so some traffic noise, particularly the odd siren.
I enjoyed my stay, had no issues with anything. Location ideal - walk, bus, train - even close to a monorail station :-)
We were really happy with the room we booked. We also got upgraded when we arrived. :o)
The hotel was much better then i had expected for the price. We we extreamely happy with everything about the hotel. I will be staying in this establishment on my next visit to sydeny.
