Nice and helpful staff. Many thanks to Kamran the receptionist. My room was simple but clean and very good value for money. The location is perfect to visit London - 2 underground station within a minute walking distance. Will definitely stay with you again.

Receptionist are friendly and helpful, however, I had a single room with shared toilet and the toilet was dirty. The bed you could feel the springs in them so wasn't confortable. However, their ensuite rooms are allot better.

The window is no locker, seeming not so safe.

While the location and price are great, the hotel itself left alot to be desired. We saw 2 rooms and there were not enough light bulbs between the 2 rooms to light one of them completely. One of the rooms also had a huge smear of mucus on the wall. One could feel the bedsprings under them when laying on the bed. Also, in the room where we stayed, the drain in the shower, which was lukewarm did not really work and we had to bail it out into the toilet while we showered.

Great hotel and well equipped in a fantastic location. It seems the hotel has been newly renovated so our room was nice and clean. Staff were pleasant and welcomed us with a complimentary drink at reception. We have stayed in a few hotels in central London, but this by far was one with largest rooms. Will make a point of staying again.

The shower curtain in the shower was pretty poor with most of the water leaking out to the floor. The mugs provided were also stained. However, since we were only after an el cheapo basic room, found at the last minute, just to crash after a night clubbing we were not too bothered. For anyone who wants to stay longer than a day you're better off looking elsewhere.

I left this hotel with 45 bed bug bites. Will never stay here again despite good location and very good indian restaurant in basement.

very friendly helpful staff. Great location, close to everything. Decor a bit tired - could do with a makeover. Would stay here again.

The room was very cheap but when I got there I could see why. There were 2 rodent traps on the floor, the curtains were hanging off from a piece of wire and overall the room was very grotty. I spent an unpleasant night. Staff, however, were pleasant, and the location was good. But I doubt I'll stay again - not in a 'basic single' anyway.

We had to change room during our stay and I can say that the room standard is very different in different rooms. Our first room was a dump and the second one very nice! The staff at the hotel was very helpful.

The breakfast was awful. The location is excellent. If you want a hotel for sleeping only and you are a student with no high expectations Whiteleaf can be a good solution.

not impressed, but location is good. bad points are=if you are at the top and there was a fire you would not get out. you are not given your own key, staff open your room when you come back. breakfast is from 8:00 until 9:00 which is useless to most--------glad to check out.. p/s, this is a non smoking hotel..
