I Residence Hotel Silom

A very good experience again at this hotel. Location perfect for us. This time spending only a little more on a room we had for the first time one of the new rooms. Modern bright decor and a large room. AC was a little noisy at night,may needed some maintenance, told staff. A return is a sure thing.

Stayed at this hotel several times since it first opened. Property definitely show signs of aging. Lobby smells a hint of sewage, but so does the rest of the city. If you are a fan of extra firm mattresses, you'll love this place. However, that appears to be the norm in Asia. Otherwise this hotel is a gem. Great location next to rail stop. Chic concept and unbeatable value for comfort, style, location, and budget.

We have stayed here 4 times now, only for 1 night at a time. We were given a free upgrade on one occasion. The one bedroom suites are better if you are staying for more nights, but the studios OK for short term stays. The furniture is getting a bit tired, but other than that the staff are very friendly and efficient and we would stay there any time. Right across the road from the Chong Nonci BTS station. Breakfast good.

EXCELLENT HOTEL - CLOSE TO SHOPPING, TRANSPORT

We were notified the room is under pest control. So, we get free upgrade to Junior Suite at I-Residence Sathorn for first night. The hotel has arranged the transportation for us because Sathorn branch located far from BTS station. We also get free a breakfast as compensation. Overall, we are satisfied with the hotel arrangement and services. We transfer back to Silom branch on 2nd day. The room is clean, but the furniture a bit aging. Bath towels and hand towels not provided when we checked in. However, the staff is helpful and fulfill all our request on the spot. The location is great, just beside the BTS Chong Nonsi Station. McDonald and 7-Eleven just next to the hotel. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with the stay. It's recommended.

Superb location right in front of SkyTrain station Chong Nonsi. However after midnight can get a bit queit and dark should you have to walk back from Patpong / Silom Road. NO FREE WIFI as advertised though as the hotel uses SmartZone which you're to purchase the credit from the reception. Walls & doors are thin - so slamming doors or noisy neighbours could keep you awake if you're a light sleeper. Overall value for money, great location. Will stay again.

We have stayed at his hotel 4 times this year. Location great,service great and food at he Pool great. Room was also great. But we had been allocated a room at the rear of the hotel this time. The windows offered no view other than an on going building project. 10 feet away!!. We had an early start one morning and returned to the hotel mid afternoon for a nap before a busy evening. No way could we sleep with workers up on a bamboo scaffold opposite our window calling down for more bamboo and building materials. We have 2 more visits to Bangkok in 2010, we will not be staying at this hotel for fear they allocate a rear view room. There should be a warning that rear view rooms will be allocated and a price to reflect this. Maybe OK for one night. Not for us.

Our second stay at this hotel and we have one more booking for December. Wonderful location,excellent food and service at the "pool" restaurant. Looking forward to our return visit.

Great location very close to BTS station,shops and eating facilities. Service wonderful. Room had to us, poor lighting,very dull and also an odor from the carpet we think. This soon went when the A/C was running for a while. Pool / roof top restaurant was wonderful, from view to food to service to value. Ready to book a return very soon.

Good Hotel. Good Value. Good Location. Clean. Safe. Close to Sky Train. Not a luxury hotel, not the best hotel, but it has all the amenities that a traveller needs.

This is one of our all time favorites. Value for money cannot be ignored, location is just superb and the service punches well above its price range.

I have stayed in many hotels in Bangkok and this is one of the best for the money. It is very well located, just steps from the Skytrain. There is a 7-Eleven right nearby and any number of coffee shops. The Internet worked great and so did the aircon. There was some noise from the street and from nearby construction and the breakfast was just mediocre, but overall I was quite pleased.

Very good location. Near 7-11 and Chong Nonsi BTS Station.

The only imperfection was due to the construction site beside the hotel which is very noisy during the day. The noise starts as early as 8am. The window blind was unable to block the morning sun which is another unpleasant experience. The water heater control was not good either. Apart from these, the rest are pretty fine. Value for Money

The location is very good, next to a BTS station, so making travelling a breeze. But when we check into our room, the sofa, and the seat cushions were stained. Which makes me wonder is the room clean or not. the rest of the services are fine.

I stayed at I-residence and found my room , quiet, clean and with a comfortable bed. The reception was very friendly and very efficient in handling any queries. Location is a stroll to Silom or take the SkyTrain at the front door only 1 stop to be dropped off at PatPong Central! I have stayed here 4 or 5 times and I will be back.

Location of the hotel was at a very strategic area with lots of food and easy access to public transportation. Room is very cosy however bathroom is a little small. Breakfast was outdoor so it was quite hot while we were eating. Everything else is good.

very good location, easy excess via bts. due to demo by red army manage to move around bangkok without much fuss. room was good, most important was the bed, really comfortable.

It was very good that hotel staffs were all friendly and has hospitality.

ံHappy with the service. Staff are very helpful. Very close to Sky Train Station. Just across the road. Hotel foods are not very good. There are afew shops down the road.
